In my case, it wasn't sad at all. (Yes, this is autobiographical.)

After all, it still ended (and continues) with Love! :-)

It's published! My latest story, "The Six Feet Between Us" was a labor of love. I had originally intended to enter it in the "Love the Ones You're With" story event, but a) I didn't get it finished in time, and b) my wife ended up catching Covid. That put a real damper on want...
