Tonight at noon, ‘midst a quiet typhoon,
In a plane that flew ‘neath the sea,
A man and her brother gave birth to her mother,
On an underground balcony.

Now the icy cold heat, in part but complete,
Froze the eggs the stallion laid.
And the chicken’s bark at the galloping shark,
Was heard by a flying mermaid.

The toasted ice cube, on the grandfather’s boob,
Blazed as the mouse chased the cat.
While up in the sky, elephants fly,
And Bush became a new democrat.

Today at midnight, in the blinding sunlight,
As the whale and the ant played Scrabble,
The sun and moon sang a melodic rap tune,
While the worm and the snake did grabble.

As the bear played Bach, in downtown Bangkok,
And the lion strolled with the ant,
The winged crocodile, while dressed in high style,
Was reading a volume of Kant.

Tonight at noon, ‘midst a quiet typhoon,
In a plane that flew ‘neath the sea,
A man and her brother gave birth to her mother,
Who then gave birth to me!

Reminds me of "Dunkel war’s, der Mond schien helle", also filled with paradoxes, oxymorons and surreal twists.

Thanks for sharing.
