I want to unlearn
help me untie
these leaden weights
that drag me down

let me unlearn
the shame and the fear
how I hide my form
how I hide my heart
how I bind my mind
in the straightest laces

let me unlearn
this perfect balance
perfect and sterile
sterile and static
this surface of self
that has frozen for winter
and trapped me beneath

break into me
and let me unlearn
let the surface tremble
crack from the gravity
shatter from my shaking free

bear me up
and let me unlearn
the shame and the fear
let me spread my soul
to the height of abandon
wider than wings

Unwinding in the Dark a rise and fall of passion
my secrets sharing a few things
fingertips intimate touches
Breath of Time together in privacy
wordless a fumbling description
