we are stardust,
so what?

she said

and erased
languid lines

laid out in the sand
before my sense

of being

complete
and always
so completely
out of sync

we are evolution,
who cares?

she purred
like a sidestep
quantum leap
mutation

flexing feline grace
fearless of time
and space

inviting

to carnal
contemplation
and clear sense
stormy stimuli

we are small
in the galaxy,
but a universe
inside of me
is still expanding
and will soon
break free

she said,
knowing
just knowing
that suns
breed and die
every second
also in me

when swirling
universes collide
logic burns
like sparkles
side by side
with galaxies
imploding

and we are stardust,
i know that now
since the moment
when she said

your universe
attracts me,
let us see
if you too
have gravity

Gorgeous

and shimmering. Thank you. The nonplussed acceptance of the amazing was a mystery that lured me in and made me want to finish.

And to think I thought of Joni Mitchell

and Woodstock, but then the poem continued and the galaxy exploded, imploding into just two... Well done.

wonderful

sums up so much about relationships in a very unique way.

Reading this I thought " yeah I've had those same feelings and conversations...perhaps with different words"

Very Nice poem

Thank you
