My apology was to the two people I was familiar with having sung the song. Both male. The Lyrics are an HOMAGE and a PARODY and no apology to Mr. Berlin is required. IMHO. Thanks for the comment, though... I always appreciate feedback

But an homage? I don't know, an homage is defined as respect or reverence paid or rendered. Now I think your parody is amusing, but do you think Bing or Burl, two very conservative fellows would feel honored by a line like "I touch your cock and feel it grow. OH!" ? Likewise, in the interest of language use, and I admire your parody, but if an apology were to be made I would assume it would be based on wether the recipients were insulted, not on whether the writer deemed the work to be an insult. We often say things that we do not mean as an insult but people still take offense. For example, a friend of mine referred to a lesbian as "a carpet muncher," not knowing the woman he was speaking to was also a lesbian. Did he owe her an apology? He thought so. Anyway who cares. We all look forward to more lines like, "And massage the pre-cum on your glans. OH!" If I owe you an apology for these comments I heartily beg your forgiveness and wish you what you desired, "your semen's shot inside. OH!" What could be more warm and welcoming? Peace and Love!

Erectus, we have different perspectives and I appreciate that. My use of "homage" was in the literary sense of acknowledgement and a "nod" to prior authors, creators, and artists. The respect is inherent whenever a cover is done or a parody written. The "apology" was somewhat facetious and conventional. Actually I am pretty sure Bing and Burl would have lined up at the mistletoe to be held by my singer. L O L~
