although I hope the use of "fancy words" don't keep the "masses" from enjoying this poem!

Please don't bow to the masses,

those great, teeming masses!

If I don't know something, that's a challenge, not a putoff!

So, tralucent means translucent (obsolete): A thing is translucent when it merely admits the passage of light, without enabling us to distinguish the color and outline of objects through it; it is transparent when we can clearly discern objects placed on the other side of it. Glass, water, etc., are transparent; ground glass is translucent; translucent style.

Nice job, you have a way with words. Make me work!
