Click hereI could argue, I could tell him to go ahead and sue me, but I've been through enough these last few days.
"I'll be back for the rest of my belongings in a couple of days."
At the hotel the Judge tells me he is paying for the room. He suggests a drink at the bar, and pats my backside.
"I need the toilet, if you'll excuse me?"
He nods and licks his lips. I've seen that look on many men's faces before.
"My dear you look quite pale, and you've been in the toilet for more than 10 minutes."
He orders a brandy for me, as I contemplate the outcome of bumping into Ms Taylor in toilet.
The judge takes me to a secluded booth. He slips his hand in his pocket and holds out my orange panties.
"I rescued these for you Pauline," he says with a smile.
Does he really think I want them!
"Would you, dispose of them for me judge?"
"Oh of course my dear, how insensitive of me," he folds them and puts them back in his pocket, a little to carefully, "you know I've got your work dress as well."
He flicks his fingers and his driver comes over and places my uniform on the table, and another brandy for me.
"That'll be all Davenport. I'll not need you anymore tonight."
I know what he's expecting, and he comes out with it.
"Now my dear Pauline, perhaps we could have dinner, up in your room away from prying eyes, and if it isn't too much trouble," he says sliding his hand on my knee, "I wouldn't mind seeing you wear this dress again?"
"Do you like the Benny Hill show?"
"Oh yes Pauline, the way he chases scantily clad women around really is quite funny."
He licks his lips, and his hand goes up under the hem of my skirt.
"I've often wondered what it would be like to be chased around like those women; do you think I could get a part doing that?"
He is trembling and has sweat above his top lip. I let his fingers find the top of my thigh, and then, my panties.
"Perhaps we could do that judge. Oh by the way, have you made a will?"
One again I agree with Tatanka Bill. This was so well done. In these three short chapters we have come to know, understand, and yes, to empathize with, have contempt for, or even to downright hate the several characters. As for me, I'm totally on Pauline's side! I guess that's what's expected, even if she does not have the highest morals, she does what she needs to do to survive, and she has more humanity than anyone else in the story, although I guess Mr. Harrington Brown represents another aspect of humankind. It would be fun to learn more of HB's number 2. What happens with Mr. Cox and Pauline? And the judge? And what happens with the verdict? How does Harrington Brown handle defeat, if in fact he loses? Did Spratt have a boy or a girl? So many questions! I look forward to learning the answers! It's also amusing that this days of an ordinary life story is taking place during one of the great triumphs of the age: the Moon Landing! Thanks for another great chapter, JB
Once again, this is just so much fun to read. If it ends here it's a brilliant story. If there's more to come I'll hardly be able to contain my joy. Great storytelling!
