They didn't end up together. She didn't say "what about Theo?" Or "Theo is history" or anything like that. She said "let him sleep" and "just be with me" while he sleeps. And when he wakes up? Yeah. She didn't say she was unhappy being shared, but that she was unhappy sharing Jake. She's perfectly content letting Theo and Jake share her, the way this ended. Guessing that explains the score. Enjoyed the series, loathed this sequel with the passion of a thousand dying suns.
