I presume that @Just_Words is single since he doesn't know that the normal marriage vows contained the words "to have and to hold" rather than the "to love and to hold" that he claims.

It is disappointing to see a writer promise a Part 2 that never materializes, but the story seems to be shaping up as an RAAC so maybe the lack of a continuation is for the best.
