Pathos and mirth. A horror story, to bring home a child molesting boyfriend. (Lucky he wasn't a clown?)

Laptopwriter: Thank you for creating such a wonderful tale! I've no idea how long it takes to come up with all the details and craft them into a coherent stream, evenly developing the characters along the way but it must take considerable thought and effort! Thank you! 5 stars. Wish it could be more.

There is no number tat can explain the value of this story,

More like a weak fucked up Tom who should have manned up but he was a fucking wimp, giving into his slut wife. First step should have been removing Dayton from their home.

Good idea to bring the potential for child abuse to the forefront. But as a noel it reminded me of the stories that my mother used to to in her Redbook magazine. Easy to read with a happy ending but not too complex or deep.

I have commented before on this am doing so again first i want to say thanks for posting this story i agree that it is a real problem not just in the United States but in the world and for the most part you have it right down the point of what the victim of such a thing goes through without going into the details however you was mistaken on 1 thing that was the cop saying it wasn't enough evidence to do anything about it at the time that is not entirely correct it was enough evidence for the police to investigate and get warrants for the phone records from the company the phone service is from as it concerned a minor child as far him cloning the phone that's a little more complicated while yes it is against federal law but such crimes or often overlooked when the phone in question belongs to person who cloned it and when it concerns the health and safety of the persons minor child but the evidence part being enough was entirely wrong because it involved a minor child the text clearly showed a threat to her so by state and federal law they would have had no choice but to investigate and even remove the child from the home depending upon the results of the initial investigation sure some could claim they couldn't actually get evidence cause he was using a burner phone that's also a misunderstanding issue for a burner phone is still connected to a company and still has a service connected to the phone and the company the phones service is through does still retain the history of the phone as its call log where the phone was bought at and when it was bought that company would have that information and the police would have access to that information besides that its a federal crime not just state so the parents could demand bringing the FBI in and they would be able to get other information that the local police cant get either way the police in this story at the time it was first brought to there attention didn't wanna do there jobs until they had no choice another thing it sounded like you were saying with the girls testimony he would get at max 5 years if convicted that is also not true if you are convicted of child abuse in general your getting at least 10 years in prison its a first degree felony not a 2nd or 3rd degree other than it's a good story and again thanks for bringing it to the open people should be made aware this is a huge issue that kids has to deal with and everyone should start together and stop such things from happening and to put a united front up to show every child they are not alone and don't have to deal with it alone that if they need it help and even protection is there for them at all times

sadly,i'm sure the number of known and resolved instances of abuse are just the tip of the iceberg . in some cases the failure to report allows some of the scumbags who do this to get away with it and scar for life those who are abused . in this case the predator actually used the mother to get closer to the victim .

I have to say thanks for putting this out there while yes there was some things im not sure would play out the way it did in this story but I fully understand that everyone would react differently when faced with the situation me i would have said fuck work until I figured out who was molesting my daughter for work would have never crossed my mind i wouldn't want anything to cloud my mind other than figureing out the best way to help my daughter and keeping my mind preoccupied with work or anything else is not the best way to do that in my opinion also me personally well I wouldn't have stopped hitting him i would have made my daughter's mother to call 911 and then told him you better hope they get here before I kill you and beat the shit out of him while the cops were on there way in fact they would have had to pull me off of him i know some would act the way this mc did however im not sure how many would i do know most dads i know would have killed the mother fucker without a seconds thought and im not sure how many cops when found out the reason would actually arrest them for murder to be honest probably most cause its there job however im not sure if any jury or judge would convict him im not even sure the da or the ada would even charge him for it if they did he would be treated extremely good in the conviction and would be the safest person in the history of prison cause once it was found out that he is in prison for killing the man who molested his daughter the inmates would look out for him making sure he was untouchables and making sure he had what ever he needed and wanted while there as well as making sure his daughter and her mother was taken care of and safe while he was there cause no 1 likes a child molester so if he killed him and that happened it's nothing more than a respect deal he earned it the moment he killed the man who sexually abused his daughter and it will be found out why you can't hide that shit while in prison

I thought this was an excellent story. After the introduction, I made to read it alone, afraid the the abuse of a minor would be horrifically described but that wasn’t the case. Despite some terrible events, this was a very nice story with a good outcome. After having read many stories from this author, I’ve found all (or mostly all) of them to very good.

AnonymousAnonymous8 months ago

Good story but only in a fantasy. Parents arguing with each other for two years things get said you can't take back. No sex for that long can lead to cheating. It is very rare for divorced people to get married again and even more rare for them to make it work. It's nice to see a happy ending for a change though.

Excellent story. This is a true Loving Wives story. BTB stories are fun to read but it's still nice when the family can get back together for a happy ending. Yeah I know I'm just a sentimental old guy, but it was a good ending. It's a very touchy subject but I thought the child sexual abuse was handled very well. Not surprised that Dayton got shanked while in prison. Those guys in prison might be criminals but they have no love for child molesters. Serves the bastard right. It was easy to see how he played Angels to get to Lana, but like they say, hind sight is always 20-20. Loved the story, five stars.

Many problematic issues were unveiled and addressed in this excellent story. I know of more marriages that crashed and burned due to the failure to communicate than crashed due to infidelity; thanks for addressing it here.

As a lifelong educator, I can attest that physical and emotional abuse of children is a major problem, and the sexual molestation of young teens by adults they should be able to trust is far more common than you want to believe. As bad as Lana’s situation was, I’ve seen far worse, and school counselors have seen far worse than I have. Thanks for addressing that in a caring and moderate way.

Outstanding story. The ending lacked detail and felt rushed. I like the author took on this subject. I also like the redemption at the end. So few Loving Wives stories end this way.

AnonymousAnonymous11 months ago

I'm really serious about this - the story should be in the hall of fame. Not all divorces are for infidelity, some are just misunderstandings that compound. Utterly believable.

Cito22Cito2212 months ago

I'm sorry, but if my wife was divorcing me or divorced me and the MF'er that she moved into the house molested my daughter. OMG... She facilitated the molestation of her own damn daughter. My daughter would be being raised by her grandparents as they would have found both my ex wife's and her bf body in itty bitty pieces spread out all over a cow field. DONT EVER TOUCH ONE OF MY KIDS.

ComefindmeComefindme12 months ago

For me, the ending kinda tanked the whole story. The way you set it up it felt like them being friendly and good coparents would have been an amazing ending, instead of... What we got.

I get wanting happy endings and even forcing them when they don't fit, but man the amount of bad blood they just gloss over is.. enormous, even with therapy. Like how do you make love to your wife knowing she was banging your daughter's abuser a month or two after your divorce? Just felt.. really uncomfortable.

Starwolf1961Starwolf196112 months ago

Well handled touchy subject. Utterly believable. This situation happened a lot, more than you think. Ultimately they are both responsible, but having admitted it, they can heal and deal with the emotional pain. Still want to see Dayton's dance card (ahem) "filled" by Bubba. Yes, pun intended. KUDOS!

AnonymousAnonymousabout 1 year ago

So he thought about his work more then wife. She makes his life he'll leads to divorce. I disliked the therapy of how she got to say her 2 cents and from then on its him reacting. Why can't he be like out of nonwhere I'm yelled at snide remarks no respect and she let's a man replace me in weeks not months. What the hell was he suppose to do. No wife was a hoe who wouldn't communicate and expect the man to solve everything.

The old saying goes "you can't fix stupid". Tricked or not, lied to or not, the wife was as dumb as whale shit. Why do so many writers put those hopelessly damaged marriages back together? A wife is tricked, cheats, lives with or marries the bad guy and hubby forgives. A wife goes off the cliff due to hormone issues and a husband is expected to forgive.

Flip the coin. A husband has a mid life crisis and he is fucking dead meat, period!!!

I'd love to see one of these story end more like real life. Fuck the bitch, as often as you want, but nothing more

A mere 3 years for the rape of a minor? Why? rape is rape. Forcible rape of an unwilling child should be an even greater penalty. Ten years for the violent rape of a child sounds much more reasonable. No wonder criminal actions succeed so often. Why worry about being caught when your penalty will be a mild rebuke.

This is a must read story for too many reasons to list. 5+++++

A short note: rarely do we get to read a story that explains the way true love works. It does not start with sex, but it gives the best opportunity for a life long union. True love unselfishly gives one's entire self to lift up and nourish the object of love. Those who complain about the husband reigniting the marriage obviously have never experience such love. It is not a 50-50 love but a 100-100 each giving everything. Even when it is not perfect (who among us is?) no marriage without it can ever be as good.

Has to read this story twice to extract all the nuance. Laptop Writer is more than a 'story' author and has the makings of a good novelist. That is, if he isn't already and this is just moonlighting. In that case, I am grateful to profit from his ventures. The best stories are about engaging readers in the exercise of their moral imagination. Not moralistic, but in their exercise of moral reason. The author Ohio also does this well, but that of this author approaches classic literature status. Well done, and there is nothing I can add about this one's writing. The portrayal of a couple haunted by their relative immaturity and their growing up in the face of divorce and related adversity is an amazing exercise of reader imagination. The recently divorced husband had a choice forced by the situation, whether to go nuclear on the Ex and seek sole custody by laying blame on the mother's misjudgement, or opt for forgiveness given his growing recognition of his inadvertent complicity in her poor judgement. Opting for forgiveness and realizing his own error opened the door for his wife's maturation and the healing of his daughter. That the former wife came to grips with her immaturity and it's consequences would have earned her great kudos with both family and friends too. The mark of great literature is to force the reader to exercise their moral imagination on similar lines. This author does it so well, and shows the best features of Literotica.com along with Harddaysnight's humor, Richard Gerald's portrayal of irrational marital complexity, and others. I for one am grateful.

AnonymousAnonymousover 1 year ago

Interesting story. The (ex)wife was clearly the main problem, not having the level of maturity expected of a martial partner. Such divorces are seldom just the problem of one spouse, but the one portrayed there was clearly more at fault. Does fault matter? Yes, clearly, as this story shows very clearly. The character lacked the maturity to deal with martial bickering and the resulting divorce, and her co-dependency on the boyfriend opened the door to the daughter's abuse. This author is amazing for telling stories of character studies we can all relate to. But I have to say my first impulse would have been to seek sole custody based on her irresponsibility. BUT the needs of the minor child always come first as this story demonstrates. My wife and I had close friends who went through something very like this, a bitter divorce where the ex-wife moved in a 'boyfriend' whose emotional shoulder she had leaned on before the break-up. And he did turn out to have designs on the minor children which she didn't recognize even though we tried to caution her about that seemingly sudden relationship to no avail. Her children were friends with our children also, so that abuse impacted multiple lives. Sticking with them both as old friends was the biggest emotional challenge we ever faced. It only got sorted out when outside intervention by the grandparents got the abused kids help. So yeah, this story isn't just imaginary fiction. Kudos to Laptop Writer for telling it so well.

AnonymousAnonymousover 1 year ago

Classic Laptop Writer story. Beautifully told. But I have to comment about the plot premise that the ex-husband took the wife back. Her colossal misjudgement brought about the abuse of her minor daughter directly. She created the opportunity by her ill-considered judgement (lack there-of) and he ex-husband takes her back? That is bullshit. Most ex's would have gone for sole custody, and rightfully so. The mother put her own needs before her daughter who paid for it. The classic definition of a bad parent. If she decided to toss her husband, she assumes the responsibility as a single parent, and ignoring that created the opportunity for a child predator. How could one expect the absent parent to forgive that? Not me. Not much else to say.

A well written and involving story which flows naturally with believable characters, dealing sensitively with such an emotive subject as child abuse. I am not generally a fan of stories that end by splitting a family with children, especially if they are young, unless there is a really vaid reason, so it is nice to have a ending to this one as you have. Well done, 5 stars.

DessertmanDessertmanover 1 year ago

A very moving story with great psychological insight. Sadly, child abuse causes terrible damage, I have a dear friend who was abused by her father and it took her years of psychotherapy to get over the worst of it.

One gripe, I do wish you and other writers took greater care with your spell checking. A frequent one is 'jealously' which should be 'jealousy'.

Excellent work on a sensitive subject, handled well.

AnonymousAnonymousalmost 2 years ago

It's ballsy to write a story, especially on this site, that covers such a sensitive and vile topic as this. With the propensity of online erotica to veer into the realm of the taboo, the immoral, and the disgusting, I was leery about even reading this.

.

Was it a 100% accurate portrayal of this kind of abuse and the aftermath? No it wasnt.

Was it exploitative? No. It was very delicate and considerate throughout.

But did it convey the topic in such a way, simplistic and generic as it was, that the reader was not uncomfortable and could enjoy the story? I believe it did.

.

Focusing more on the parents reactions and journey rather than the abuse itself was a smart move and handled fairly well. It kept me reading on a difficult subject and with that I believe the author did a commendable job. I certainly couldn't tackle this and I hope the author is satisfied with his work accordingly.
