Even though Emma is not the main character in this story I found myself relating to her so much. This was just great. The writer has a good grasp of language and description, and the depths of the inner feelings of the dom are well expressed. Those have decent flow and seem to pull us into the inner power and turmoil of his world.

I don't feel that the writer has a good grasp of submission, actually. Emma is a paper doll. Her lack of depth makes this feel almost misogynistic. It doesn't feel as though she is a real person, only a reflection of his desires, so again, good from his point of view in a way, but I'd never want to give in to someone on that much of a power/ego trip with no understanding of his sub.

Overall the writing itself is good, and the writer shows real promise and quality.

I don't think I'd necessarily want it to be so crude.... most gals, even submissive ones, want and need the romance and affection before the act itself for them to be able to fully trust someone as dominate as this guy. He doesn't show that affection until the end and not much. He talks throughout the whole chapter as if he knows and understands sexually submissive women, but it was hard to buy into that. He demonstrates a much better understanding of himself as a dominant and shows little desire to understand her, which makes him come across as self-absorbed, selfish and ultimately unattractive. Putting myself in her shoes, I would've been turned off by him pretty quickly, and I'm as submissive as they come.

I recently read "Fifty Shades" trilogy and that,in comparison,was a clumsily written "girly"work although with a good plot.Dr Mabeuse's writing is not just aimed at the female reader and,this too,is rare.

This writing deals with male psychology and,as a female,it certainly held my curiosity.I think also that it attempts to present Dominant's psyche and show it is really not freakish but incredibly masculine and honest.

The submissive personality...her longings and doubts are also honestly and sensitively explored and it shows great observation and depth of understanding on the part of the author.

I am very impressed with the quality of writing that this author treats his reader to and will certainly search for this book on the shelves.
