Very engaging story! Characters are interesting, it’s lighthearted with an undertone of seriousness, and I feel the hook to want to see how story develops.

The sporadic errors in verb conjugation, consistency in tense, and occasional misapplication of words are a distraction and detract from overall presentation. More diligence in those areas would serve your writing well.

But who am I to bitch about that? I don’t submit any stories, haha.
