Sidenote: Why do people that don't like this type of story even read the ones posted in this category. I think that by now most of us know what this category is for. And if not, I think that the descriptions give the impression usually.

By far, not BORING.

...because not every one of the stories in the 'Loving Wife' category portrays a husband who would rather be a spectator than a participant in his own marriage. Occasionally, a husband is written expressing the anger and angst most men would in witnessing his wife betray their marital vows rather than have him hiding in shadows beating his meat in euphoric ecstacy. Maybe the answer to all this is to develop a 'Wimp Husband' category. That would keep you from reading our responses and us from having to wade through such tripe. One can only hope.

I've always thought the "loving wives" section was a euphemism or turn of a phrase for "cheating wives". Mainly since most of the stories deal with that issue. Thus I don't read it much unless the subject line grabs me.

Anyway, interesting story and could end up being a good series seeing where it leads the couple. I'd hardly call the guy a wimp either.. he supposedly wanted something like this to happen aka swinging (he said he had cheated on her too..).

I also agree with two of the comments. One of them said that we read these stories because some stories are about LOVING WIVES. Also because some MEN actually act like MEN and don't put up with their cheating whore wives. More author's should write more stories with real life like in them. Some of them do and of course those are my favorite's. Vastie is one of the best author's out there.She writes stories that could actually be real. Of course in real life most MEN would not tolerate thier wives cheating on them. They also don't get turned on watching his wife fucked by another man. I realy enjoyed the story up to the ending. First the wife had plans to have sex as shown by dressinf in the closet with the door closed. Then the hubby finds her doing the act but make no heat about it when she gets home. There is a whole new ending to this story or even three more chapters you could write. Give us the heat, have her make up by giving him a nurse friend.. Have the nurses having a bet who can lay all the Doc's and inturns on their floor first.

First let's clear something up, almost every story site on the Internet has a category for 'wife' stories, and it’s always dominated by slut wife and wife sharing stories. Literotica is no different. The category description states "Tales of adventurous married women & their mates." I know most everyone reading that in the context of an erotic story site is smart enough to understand we are talking about woman interested in new and daring sexual experiences. It doesn't have to be cheating on your husband, but that certainly qualifies, and all except for a few noisy individuals with distaste for wife sharing stories seem to understand that.

Regardless of the noisy trolls the fans of these stories will always browse this category and the authors will always submit to it. All their whiny bitching hasn't made a dent in the number of stories turning up daily. They pour in, the fans keep returning, and wife sharing stories continue to dominate.

What these nuisances have accomplished is compromising the integrity of Literotica. Hunting out stories they know they won't like just to drop zero bombs is juvenile and detracts from the overall quality of this site. And shit, if I ever find myself reading a story that starts to reek of a revenge story, I've now taken up the nasty habit of retaliating with a low rating before closing it out, because quite frankly stories where a guy gets off on hurting a woman disgusts me and what’s good for the goose… So, all that’s ultimately been accomplished is the ratings system is screwed up for everyone. Unless you are a complete imbecile you have to recognize that’s how it’s worked out. GOOD JOB!

As for the inflammatory posts, the wife sharing fans seem to have no problem breezing by them to find what they're looking for, so I can only assume the people writing them are doing so to amuse themselves. In fact, they appear to make an evening of it. It doesn’t take an Einstein to read the title and the description and generally know what they are getting into, yet night after night they read these stories, each and every one, only to bitch about it afterwards, which makes about as much sense as sucking a guy’s cock just so you can call him a lousy fag. As for me, I delete inflammatory comments almost as fast as they can write them, and it feels good––like swatting a fly.

I don’t expect anything will change, but I do suggest to those serious about separating the stories, do so by first instituting a coding system on the stories they like. So if you’ve come here to read revenge stories, please ask the author’s of those stories to tack on REVENGE to the first word in the story description. I guarantee you’ll find far more cooperation from them than the author’s you’ve uselessly tried to annoy.

I am sure even the Burn-the-Bitch Sharia Lawyer misogynists would like to have their own section. I think the comments on the Loving Wives catagory in the previous feedback is partially correct. The problem is separating the catagory in some fashion. When I read half way a story to then find a husband getting off seeing his wife cheating with with the horse hung neighbor I skip to the next story. I do get angry at having wasted an hour reading something that doesn't interest me. Maybe Loving Wives started out to be about wives having a carefree sexual free-for-all, but it has changed. I think most of us would like to be able to easily find the type of stories that interest us.

All of these types of stories seem to highlight the concept of: "Short Term Sexual Gain" leading to "Long Term Marital Pain". I know, some times couples who deviate are able to have long term happy marriages. What are the odds? What does it say about a couple that after 23 years of marriage that one needs to get off cheating and the other needs to get off by becoming her fool.

I think the title "Loving Wives" is so vague and there is such animosity around the category that I don't understand why authors and readers have not forced a change. The description, "Tales of adventurous married women & THEIR MATES." doesn't exclude mates that want divorce or revenge. I am glad that I have not read too many revenge stories that have a husband resort to violence against a wife. There should even be less. I have probably read more "Loving Wives" tales in which violence is visited upon the husband by the wife and lover.

I do not like to read stories in which a wife is married to a "Good Guy" , but she joyfully lies and cheats on her husband. A story in which the wife has a real reason to step out ( like a cheating or violent husband), or the couple work towards a balanced reconciliation, or even a smart (sexy or funny) revenge is great. I just want some kind of balance or justice.

Quite a few, too fucking many story descriptions are so vague or misleading that I do get angry when I find out it is a wimp or willing cuckold story. I do not start a story that I know will disappoint me, but I will score a story poorly if it is poorly written or wastes my time.
