'What about her- Oh!' Lara finally noticed the admittedly obvious problem her daughter was having. 'Don't worry about that. You have an important task to do instead. Is that clear?'
Tim looked back at Cassie. He was fully aware how awful it felt to get stuck with a boner, though admittedly his was much smaller than that. He really wanted to help her with it, but when she nodded at him to go, he eased up.
The trio made their way to the door, Lara and Cassie making sure to send Tim home safely. Tim and Cassie awkwardly managed to hug each other goodbye. Just before Tim left, Lara spoke up.
'Just so you kids know, I'll be going on a business trip tomorrow, until Sunday. So I won't be around to help you out anymore. From here on, it's all up to you.'

She also doesn't seem to give two shits about her son if she is willing to give Cassie's mother, "the last opportunity for things to get better." Also, from page 1.
With Cassie and her mother being the root cause of all of her son's trauma, a restraining order against both parties would be the correct response as soon as that information was disclosed.
From the author: "I apologize profusely for Tim being and acting like an 18-year-old and not a Nobel Laureate."
To the author: How do you explain his mother being a total buffoon for allowing Lara or Cassie within rifle range of the son she supposedly loves so dearly once she gets the whole story?
From a commenter: "I bet the folks complaining here have no idea how difficult it is to write a good story."
That is painfully obvious to any who have read this far.
And lest we forget, at the end of this chapter, in the guise of being a "good mother", Lara becomes the first one to pop Tim's cherry.
Based on page one, I'm sure Tim's mother would have approved of that also.
If this were written better, it might do ok as a comedy.

Anonymousalmost 3 years agoI bet the folks complaining here have no idea how difficult it is to write a good story. The author has done an excellent job crafting an emotional roller coaster of a romantic story. That's not easy to do. Judging by the high ratings this story has received, I'd say "A Jock in the Machine" is a success.
These criticisms remind me of the absurd comments directed at YA authors online. People get upset that fictitious characters have flaws, make bad choices, and say stupid things. It's almost as if the authors have modeled their characters after real human beings. The horror!!!
It's a fictional story! Tim was made up. Cassie doesn't really have a 22-inch cock. No one was really betrayed. You have no reason to feel outraged over the bad behavior of a non-existent person! Except that the author has written a story so interesting that you got sucked in to it's drama. That's called powerful writing!
Now I'm sure you've all paid good money to buy this story, so if you really have such a problem with it, ask for a refund!
P.C., I hope you keep writing erotic stories because I was drawn into Tim and Cassie's world for hours and experienced a gamut of emotions most stories on this site could only dream of.

I will make it a point in my future writing to have zero drama, with all characters being MENSA members with complete emotional control and zero downsides. The entire story will be composed of only the word Waaaaaaaaaah
