"I know, baby," said Dani. "But we're leaving this room together, no matter what."
"Okay," Ken whispered.
"What?" Dani asked.
"I trust you," Ken said. "I'm lost right now, I don't understand why you're doing this, but I trust you, and I love you. I believe in me, and I believe in us."
"I love you, too, baby bird," said Dani. "Does this mean?"
"Do it, all of it. I won't ask what's left, don't tell me. You're right, I can't go back to the way things were after what you've done. You're all I have left. Make me over into what you want me to be."
Dani smiled, tears crawling down her cheeks. "You'll love it, Ken, I promise. I'm so proud of you, I love you so much. We're going to do this together, for always."
Dani kissed Ken gently on his lips and got up to grab her phone. "I'll text the guys to come back up so we can keep going."
Ken closed his eyes, "Together for always, Dani."

Anonymousover 2 years agoWhat a shock he must have felt going from a mundane marriage and even more mundane job in his life of mediocrity, to a heavily inked and pierced product of a non-conforming dominating wild child ! His existence being uprooted and spun 180 degrees without a clue ! What might I have done ? What might you have done ? Interesting conceptual story well designed and delivered ! I’ll give it 5 stars
