A very good beginning to what should be a (hopefully) lengthy tale of love & death & heroes & heroines (sorry, I'm old and like the old defining terms so all-encompassingly descriptive). Nice progression from mystery to partial knowledge, with much left to learn...and therefore much left for the author's imagination to construct.

I'm looking forward to the chapters to come. Kudos. 5 out of 5.
