Instead I was very disappointed.

they claim to love each other and there was never any mention of him having feelings for trish. so him marrying trish just proves he never really loved his sister and her accepting it and living with them proves she never really loved him they just used each other really ruins the story.

adding trish ruined the story it should have stayed just the two of them no one else
