Thanks both. Anon - I'm pleased you're interested in the Mike/Matt element, as it interests me too but I wasn't sure how much it would others. A major theme of Paradise Obtained/A Serpent in Paradise is Matt's growing recognition of the implications of what he has been doing and then reconciling himself with that. So yes, I will make sure that gets proper recognition. However, Mills and Haller also deserve a proper ending - I have been teasing Haller and his motivations all the way back to Chapter 1 of Paradise Obtained!
