Its a good story. But I can't help thinking a lot of these "Literotica" wives are really dumb. I hope in real life these women wouldn't be this dumb.
Good story. Well done 5⭐
@garysmith. It's the Lit syndrome, the wives have their IQ divided by 2 and their lovers have their dicks multiplied by 2.
Philosophical question: in the end, does this mathematical translation balance out? 🤣🤣
Great, if predictable, story. A "clueless" male that is actually brilliant is refreshing. Further, nasty strikes against his "wife" were not needed. Tit for tat with a well selected rival to inflict maximum emotional pain to his arrogant harpy partner did the job very nicely. It was perfect that the pussy hound became road kill. And finally that the "dumb" man lived happily ever after while the "clever" creature was scraped off his shoes and oozed out of town.
While all items were checked off for a great LW story, it felt just a bit too calculating and bloodless. While I dislike the husband wallowing in pain and diving into a bottle of booze, a little sadness and regret humanizes him.
"You are such a wittle boy, scared his wittle wee-wee will be bent out of shape." ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
it was deformed in a big way 😂😂
I think it would work better as a parody of the genre and these wife delivers a fait accompli situations. Too much snark from him and stupidity from her otherwise.
When he knew she was falling for the guy at work, why not tell her then that he'd leave her if she didn't stop? Then, when she said she was going out, why play games? Why not simply leave and divorce her, instead of being mysterious about it? I believe that he didn't care much for her at the start, so treated her as he did.
Still, it was a good burn, eh? D
Not knowing how long they have been together makes judging difficult. I would give the MC a A+ in Decision Making 101. Maybe a day late in leaving.
"I got together with some of the other husbands victimized by Kevin, aka Mr. Hound..."
Victimized or set free? Kevin did the guy a favor. I mean, unless he's happy with the slut-wannabe...I wish my wife would do that. I'd be free so fast!!
Meh. Formulaic. LW paint-by-numbers. The inconsistency in the plot was curious. Why go to all the trouble of making her jealous, if divorce is certain?
Didn't care for it. Would have been a 2. But I added a star for the use of wont. I've always really liked that word.
Every character is a cartoon copied from other LW cartoons. That there is a Charmaine waiting for every husband is one of those juvenile delusions that is almost funny.
Too bad the four ex husbands didn’t extract their revenge after the first time the prep did his dirty work. Husband’s dressing down of his soon to be ex was well done; almost humorous. Good thing he got rid of her before they had kids.
Old story but one of my favorite plot lines. You did it justice. Please, keep um coming.
Great story! The only thing missing was her trying to hamper the divorce and demand marriage counseling.
Excellent story. Happy ending, asshole not always walking upright, and bitch burned. Check, Check, and Check. 7 stars, the Bear liked it. more, please.
The BEAR
You were right about it being nothing new. You used every cliche in the book. In fact, I read a story not long ago that was almost identical. I don't get why some writers write the same stories everyone else writes. If you can't think of something original, why write?
Not bad. Gave it a 4 mainly because of the husband's response. No cucks here. Or there evidently. I would have divorced her just for the male ego slam.
Good, but not uncommon or unique. A short and satisfying read that sets the scene for investigation Thank You.5*
5 stars
I really enjoy short stories with satisfying endings.
Good read, thanks for sharing.
@GarySmith69
Pour hope in one hand and crap in the other and see which one fills first.
Lol.
Divorce is not so bad if your really poor or really rich! In the middle is like sex, you take a f---king.
enjoyable read, thanks
another dumb woman thinking of her vagina.
But I guess Brenda didn't care as much about the marriage.
She just accepted her fate and just faded away.

A little violence can't be helped in order to make pussy-hound learn some lessons.
Decent work @funperson969
Thank you for sharing this one.
A bit flat, without much news under the sun, but always a good light BTB tale, with a rare (in this fetish-cuck-raac bombed LW category) realistic husband with a male brain. So, there are consequences going against the femdom-cuck road: 5 full stars !
OK, the wife definitely demonstrated that she was no longer wife material. But apparently she used to be, or he's been married to an unethical cruel dumb shit from the beginning. So he got what he married, or its another case of Martian Slut Ray. There was no curiosity or explanation of Why this cheating skank lost her love and respect for her husband. Begs the question, why did she marry him in the first place? So the big unanswered question is what happened In Her Head that ruined their marriage? Those explorations and answers would have made this story special, compelling, and intriguing. As is its just another Box Cake wife goes on a date tale. And its about as good as most of the others.
Ignore demander and other fools like him. If you read his stories all his men are sissy wimps. Nice BTB, keep em coming!
"You love me, you always give me what I want." - Sure when it's things that aren't important to him. She wants to live on the east side of town rather than the south, sure. She wants a colonial-style house rather than a ranch? Okay. Etc., etc.
\
Too much by the numbers. It's a short story anyway, why not make it a little shorter and tell her that he knows all about Kevin, and that if she goes through with it, he'll go out with Charmaine? I know, many people, including me, say that he shouldn't have to stop her, but maybe come up with some creative way to get her to stop herself, instead of yet another version of the all-knowing husband who out-maneuvers his wife.
Good lord, this is the definition of “paint by numbers”. Every LW trope ever created was in this, an except coming home early or indecent proposal. I’m sure that’s next, though.
He was as bad if not worse than she was. Apparently Funperson969 just wanted to make him seem like the good guy here. Hubby gets graded "F". Funperson969 ets a "0". Change his name to Sadperson000.
Not so much a lack of intelligence on the wife's part but rather a bad case of entitlement.
Wife suffers from the "golden pussy delusion"
You know, "I have have a pussy, so that allows me to ignore all relationship boundaries and do whatever I want without consequences."
Sorry. Just didn't do it for me. Too formulaic, and with no passion. Three stars for an average. LW tale.
JPB
Nice silly story, you can’t fix stupid. You open the dictionary to Stupid and there’s a picture of Brenda.
Thanks for writing. 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
boiler plate. you must have wrote this while sitting on the can.
Wife wants to date other man (check)
Husband says no but can't stop her (check)
wife says he can reclaim her and the she also belittles him (check...and check)
Husband has good looking girl in the back round that wife hates (check AND check)
Husband files for divorce and ends of with hot girl (check...and let's see....check)
Boiler plate.
Try a little more imagination and variation next time.
Spot on! I've read so many of these stories where the deluded wife wins the argument because the husband fails to respond correctly to her BS reasoning but our rather more cerebral MC here simply ties her up in knots and exposes the paucity of her logic. Well done! JR
Wow, @demander is about as (un)intelligent as the wife in the story. Let's see, the reason the husband didn't put the end to her googly eyes with the pussyhound because (1) he shouldn't have to. It's HER job to defend the marriage, not his, if someone flirts with he; (2) Beause more importantly, it's 100% useless. Either she's a cheater or not. If she is, Pussyhound would get nowhere. If she is, the only thing stopping THIS particular incident would do, would cause her to hide her cheating better next time, and make the MC still stay married to a cheater. DUH!

The reason to "play games" instead of just a divorce, is also obvious to anyone with a brain who isn't a man-hater. She HURT him. BAD. AND... she would continue belittling him even if he divorced. His approach (1) restored justice, by hurting her back at least a little (far less than she did, but better than nothing) and (2) stoppe at the root her belittling of him, based on her lack of respect.
Pretty good story, it's amazing how sometimes what's good for the goose is not deemed good for the gander. But this one I have seen over and over again: What goes around comes around. You can't make somebody be good, they are or they aren't. Why bother putting up a fight if the person you married doesn't want you anymore why hang on. Of course it's a bit more complicated when there are kids involved. Let's face it there is no telling where the Martian slut ray may strike or when...............
That was succinct and told the story that resonates. I wonder how many men would handle things with that kind of aplomb....
The problem with Martian slut ray stories of this sort is they all require the wife involved to be impossibly. absurdly stupid and firmly believe things that no one able to feed themselves would believe..
Honestly the standards so low for what a good story is in literotica.
As long as its Btb its a good story apparently. Very weak writing itself.
Barely any emotion and just read as if its a boring biography.
I liked that you had him point out that she doesn't have to make to up to him if she did nothing wrong. However, I'm a little surprised you didn't follow that up with pointing out all of her reasons for going on the date (e.g., she deserves it) and jabs at him were all about boosting HER fragile ego.
Liked this a lot! Mostly because of the good set-up. the story went along smoothly.
Not bad. She was so wound up thinking of her husband with the girl she hates, and she got home before he did, I don’t think they had sex. He should have worked with her to save the marriage.
Once again we have the previously intelligent wife who suddenly goes brain dead and is outsmarted, outplayed, and outmaneuvered by the Brilliant Perfect Husband. She ends up sad and lonely; he ends up just fine. I've read this fairy story before. Average. 3*.
Nearly gave it a 5, but settled on a very strong 4. Well written, but it could have used a bit more detail.
@clarkgarble - you seem to be completely unaware of just HOW stupid humans can be (even smart ones). Research "motivated reasoning" to get a clue as to why.
Well, at least she acknowledged that she was an idiot, and inka2222, yeah, some of demander's stories have fallen off. I don't know why he claims that the husband did not care about his wife, that was a dumb claim, she just told him that she was going on a date with another man, she's the one that accepted the date, not him. That was her job, to know that she's married and say no, she didn't. Add in the lack of respect by belittling him, why should he care, she's the one that clearly doesn't love him and he evened the playing field, however, he was honest about who he was with. He never said where he was going, but then again, she didn't either, so he did what she did, so she didn't care, why should he?
Wow tough crowd from the reviews below. Well I enjoyed the story and yes it is a bit of a rehash but still it was short, sweet, and to the point.
Nothing new is right, props for the disclaimer. Rick got a few zingers in on his portable soapbox, but as the story made quite clear, Brenda was too stupid for any of them to be that satisfactory. Wasn't much else in the story, but it was to the point.
These funperson shorts are the new Tic Tacs of LW - brief bits of pleasant refreshment that are a greatrremedy if an untagged cuck tale has left a sour taste behind. Many thanks to funperson for keeping us well stocked with these handy literary mints.
Good, albeit tired, story line. Too many grammatical errors to justify a great rating. Please, seek an editor.
Dumped the whore, and moved on immediately. The perfect way to deal with a disloyal woman!
Can these characters be any more cliché? I think the lack of brains came from the author.
Great story only cucks and cunts hate men who wont tolerate cheating and find happiness with a good woman.
The dialogue in this story is dreadfully stilted and artificial, and the characters who speak it are generic, cliched and flat as the proverbial pancake. There is almost no description of the settings in which the story takes place and the physical details of the characters are unknown. It's like hearing two disembodied voices nattering away at each other in the ether. Throughout the story there are frequent syntactical errors, awkward turns of phrases and redundancies. I was left wondering why anyone would put so much work into writing a story that is so unengaging, unoriginal and completely lacking in verve.
Such a nice tale! Respect to those who deserve it. Harsh reality to she who needs a dose of it. We’re it me, I’d at least talk to her depending on how long they’d been married. She might deserve a second chance, again depending on her reaction to her husband. Realizing how much she apologized & his judgement as to how sorry she professes to be. And she’s at 2 strikes and no balls.
Bill S.
A tedious read with overblown, trite dialogue and no pay off at the end despite the lame attempt at irony. The many grammatical and punctuation errors--learn how to use commas and em dashes correctly--distract the reader from an unoriginal story that isn't engaging to begin with. If you're not going to pay attention to the basics of good writing, get an editor to correct your work before publishing
Cliche after cliche after cliche. This plot has been regurgitated countless times. And every time no-talent authors seem to think that a lengthy moronic conversations would somehow give them smart intro.
While I hate to be purely negative in reviews... this story has been told a dozen times now. The only downside is this time the Husband manages to somehow come out looking worse than the slut wife.
I liked it. Lost myself in the story. I get some commentators are venting spleen, but hey if you are bored with these stories, go back to your video games, or hiking, or whatever. Life's too short.
and I found happiness with someone who had real brains between her ears, and loyalty in her heart.
=> So, the MC got a dog?
