All Comments on 'A Slave's Journey Begins Ch. 06'

Quite enjoyable!

This story is well written and fun to read. I read it through a couple of times because i was having ambivalent feelings about it. I dont in general enjoy impersonal institutionalized slavery scenarios, but my main issue is there seems to be an inconsistency within the story. Either this is a society where one earns the position of slave and is valued for one's training and skills OR it is a society where stable boys can step on hands and casually abuse and possibly bruise the valuable property of the Lord. It really cant be both at this point in the story. There is this huge set up that she has to prove herself then the writer turns around and devalues Tara. It doesn't flow.
