Racist to a point, even showing some hate towards the lgbtq+ community.. What this story is, I fail to understand.

Your use of sexuality as a justification for her own choice was very elegant, this clearly went deeper for her, she wanted to keep hiding the same insecurities she's hidden her entire life. I just wish you'd given the other characters as much time as you gave Kira, cause Olivia and Adam come off one dimensional and overtly cruel, and though i understand where you were going with that, kids of that age do sometimes come off as cruel with no explanation as to why, but i feel the story is hurt by the lack of context. You could lean in to the subtext on privilege you kept referencing to ,flesh them out more as entitled and oppresive.
