Excellent use of language. It isn't in Olde English or anything like that, but it does suggest that the story is happening centuries ago, when people had a different way of speaking.

This is turning into a very interesting series. This particular author does an unusually good job creating story arcs that evolve slowly and take you to unexpected places. I have no idea where Harold and Sarah are going, but I'm certain it will be somewhere worth reading about.

I guess it's obvious that Princess Alana is going to be a problem. Just like real life: there's always an asshole who messes up everything.

Incredibly well-written and the coming conflict is desired.
