This is a superb bit of storytelling. As I finished the first chapter, I remembered why I wanted to follow this writer. There's an ease to the pacing, reasonable decisions, even when unreasonable, and heat. This is one of my favorite writers here and I wanted to be sure there were a few chapters up before I started to binge.
