A great story, Jenny, even if it is largely based on infidelity with one of the four participants (Jane) being ignorant of what’s going on. The sex between the two was exquisitely described and very well written, even though it was largely constrained to just penetrative fucking and ejaculating deep inside of libby’s pussy - eventually I would have thought he would have wanted to introduce a little more variety into the love making.

I could see this happening in real life, but how it would work for a long time isn’t clear in my mind.

But people have lovers for years that their partners never know about, so……

I was in a sexless marriage and while you don't want to cheat, you are being robbed of your self worth as a man. Slowly dieing inside. This story is plausible and I would have done the same thing if given the opportunity. Having said that, I think escorts are still the best option. I am a new man now and don't know why I ever put up that shitty marriage.

I've often wondered about the dynamic of the (usually post-menopausal) wife who feels like she's fulfilled her conjugal duty to her husband, and puts a unilateral end to their sexual relationship. Isn't that in itself a kind of infidelity? I have known too many lonely husbands whose wives figured they'd 'put in their time'. . .

As the story goes, Mike and Jane's marriage actually improves because they aren't quarreling over sex (or the lack thereof) anymore. The only character here who I feel badly for is James, and even his and Libby's not-a-marriage improves because of her affair with Mike (and yes, the story-line could use a bit of 'cleaning-up' in terms of James' references to his 'marriage', when you took pains to tell us they weren't).

I always get a wry chuckle at the guys (and aren't they all guys?) who come around, looking for sex stories to feed their fantasies, then get their undies in a bunch because someone else's fantasies offend their sense of morality

The only criticism I would have for the narrator is that he should have been honest with his wife about the proposed arrangement. Likewise, she should have been honest with herself, that her husband is unnecessarily miserable. She should give him her permission. At the very least, she could try much harder to help him. If fucking is simply too unpleasant for her, perhaps she could willingly give him good, frequent blowjobs, and if that didn’t do it for either of them then permission to satisfy himself elsewhere. The same thing if their situation were reversed, of course.

Aren’t modern relationships wonderful.

The poor wife needs sex, the poor man is equally frustrated, well boo-fucking-hoo.

So long as the selfish get what they want who gives a shit. It’s still cheating, it’s still infidelity, it’s still breaking the marriage contract but no one cares anymore.

Well I think Huedogg needs to get over it. in this case the husband due to Medical problems asked an acquaintence to Help his wife and Marriage by doing his wife. No sneaking around or lying to the other partners. So I think it was a good story could have been in Romance, But was placed in the right category.

Great story Jenny. Thanks for writing about the reality of intimacy in marriage with one partner unable to or doesnt want to have sex. I am in a similar situation with my wife where she has zero libido yet I have remained faithful. The funny thing is that I am in a similar story arc as your characters but at a very early stage and the woman is not a family friend. We will see if anything developes.

James asks his friend to fuck his wife, but then they can no longer be friends. Libby needs to summon up all her courage to follow through. She works hard to establish and maintain boundaries creating the illusion that it is just sex with no emotions involved. Mike's conscience fights an epic battle with his dick. His dick wins. That alone makes the story believable. The only person truly happy seems to be Jane. Ignorance is bliss. Knowledge gets you evicted from paradise.

The feeling of conflict is reflected in some comments too. Thankfully, all the comments here maintain a respectful tone, probably because this is about "normal" cheating as opposed to all-in cuckolding. But what is Mike supposed to do? Not cheat on his wife and instead cheat on himself by denying his sexual needs? Bringing it out in the open and ruining not just one but two marriages? There is no good solution when we permanently set our moral values against our natural inclinations instead of seeking out ways to reconcile them.

Is this the opening chapter in another possible JennyGently saga? It certainly has the potential to be that. I loved the moral dilemma that Mike faced, and while I disagree wholeheartedly with cheating (and let's not beat about the bush - Mike is a cheat) your treatment of his story is great. It is well written and the initial sex scene was incredibly accurate. As a sometime hotwife myself, I remember the feeling of nerves and indecision the first time I went with my first lover. And this was with my then husband's (soon to be a cuckold) knowledge and approval!

Yet again, the gainsayers seem to delight in attacking you. If you don't like a story, stop reading. It's not that difficult to do, surely? As fir me, I loved it and will continue to read anything you decide to write. 5 stars.

Both marriages have improved because of adultery. I think that the husband is remiss in not discussing it with his wife, but who knows how that would go. She should be able to let him get relief elsewhere is she is unwilling to provide it, but that is seldom the case. A really great story. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
