Congratulation for your first story here on Lit. I think there is a lot of options for a nice series & hope you can keep the story going. IMO, you did a decent job of including the inner thoughts & feelings. I suggest that perhaps you'll get inside the thoughts of Mike. I've found that readers of my own stories appreciate getting that deeper into the thoughts of the main characters. I'm gonna splurge and vote 5 stars ;-)
