Kind of a weird story, I figured the MC was f to m, not to f. A m to f would be living as a girl, hrt, before doing bottom surgery. Is the idea that MC will fully transition?

How did the surgery happen with the “helicopter” parents knowing? And to get that surgery so much would have to already happen.. living as a girl, taking hormones, etc. you can’t just walk in and get it.
