Have you heard of “conversation?” You have here 100% narration. You don’t allow your characters a voice, don’t let them breathe in their own voice. By employing only third person omniscient, this story feels like your only pulling puppet strings, with lifeless protagonists. Let them speak and communicate with each other. Sorry to be so harsh, but it’s really hard to read stories where there’s 0% dialogue.
