Being a hypnotherapist, I have to say that it was a very good storyline. Very close to what a hypnotist might do to help her.

I know I'm "late to the party" but just came across this story and was totally delighted. All too infrequently on this site do I find stories that are sensitive and caring in their focus, rather than centering almost solely on the erotic - or on what authors think is erotic. A well written story can be both and this one certainly is. I was gratified to read comments by transgender women who were positively touched and encouraged by the story. Unlike these folks I imagined myself in Josh's position, actually. I am male, and although I never had a relationship with a transgendered woman, I have long been attracted to them. I admire Josh's patience and dedication in doing what he could to manifest his love for Katie. It is a beautiful, self-contained story, but when I become enamored with characters in a story I want to be able to visit with them again. In that regard I hope, someday, there may be a sequel in store for Josh and Katie. Thank you.
