Humans captured as breeding stock presents an interesting concept with many possibilities. Of course we are aware that in real life, North Korea was capturing people snoozing on Japanese beaches for such purposes. Regrettably, the captors did not manipulate time. The captives remained in custody for decades. We know that the North Koreans were breeding genetically pure spies. The question is why did the aliens do this? Was it sterility of their own species, the need for genetic diversity in the alien population, the intent to send colonists into earth? All and all, however, a well told yarn.
