Chapter nine --

Thea woke up in bed next to Rhys as she had the last few mornings. Not just next to him, she was wrapped up in his arms and pressed up against his body. It was a comforting way to wake up, his arms reassuring somehow, and it made her feel protected.

So much had happened to her since she had been pulled from her ordinary safe world. It was only a few days, but OMG, the changes; Rhys, and well.. the other women. Heat began building as her mind replayed images from last night and the previous few days.

She still couldn't believe the changes in her life. Her world had been orderly, a certain rhythm that she was used to. After all, she was an engineer, and she looked at her life the same way she studied design problems. Everything had its place, but now life was suddenly chaotic. Like waking up in this man's arms in a bed with three other women, one of which was snuggled up against her back.

It must be Amancia, she guessed from the feel of the breasts pressed against her. Amancia was so sweet with a body to die for. Of course, Sandy and Kiania were so gorgeous their beauty intimidated her. Beautiful and charming, all of them. Thea felt herself becoming more aroused thinking about them. Thea was no innocent, or at least she hadn't thought so. But she had never experienced the uninhibited kind of sex that she was now a part of. Thea had never woken up in bed with more than one person and never with another woman, much less three of them.

"Good morning, beautiful," she heard as the woman behind Rhys leaned over and whispered in her ear. "How about some breakfast?"

She knew from the voice that it was Sandy. Thea was still not comfortable with all the sharing, and having a naked woman pressed up against her first thing in the morning brought conflicting emotions. She had never thought of herself as bisexual, but the last few days suggested otherwise. The unease just seemed to melt away and was replaced with a sense of comfort and a mixture of love, joy, trust, and arousal in equal measure.

Thea felt another hand on her as Kiania also woke up and leaned over Sandy to kiss her cheek.

"Good morning," she heard.

Thea smiled as any unease began to disappear as her arousal increased some more. What is wrong with me, she thought, embarrassed as lust shot through her?

"Ready for some breakfast," Sandy asked again?

Thea nodded and started to untangle herself to get out of bed.

"No, not that kind of breakfast," Sandy said with a soft chuckle. She pulled the covers off Rhys exposing a morning erection. "This kind," she said, guiding Thea to Rhys' cock.

Thea felt Amancia move from behind her giving her room while Sandy's hand guided her head to the erection. Thea felt raw lust hit her as she opened her mouth and began to suck on the head of the cock. Rhys' cock seemed magical to her. One lick and she was lost as the taste seemed to jump-start her need.

Rhys came awake as Thea's mouth enveloped him. "Good girl," Sandy said as her hand pushed Thea to take more of him in her mouth. Then there were more hands on her, fingers touching her suddenly wet sex, probing gently before moving inside her.

Thea sucked the cock in her mouth like it was the most magical thing in the world. The fingers on her and in her drove her lust higher. It was weird doing this in front of the other women, but it made her so hot. Her body seemed to like it even if her mind was confused.

Then Rhys was holding her head, and Sandy was telling her what a good girl she was. She shuddered and moaned around Rhys cock as she came for the first time. Then she heard Rhys tell her what a good girl she was, and she almost came again. It seemed impossible, but just the words sent thrills shooting throughout her body and right to her brain and clit.

Thea moaned around the cock in her mouth as someone's tongue replaced the fingers inside her. In a daze, she heard other women moan, but Rhys' hands held her head, guiding her mouth on him. The hands pulled her deeper on the cock until she started to gag, then let her up. As they dragged her back down, Rhys told her to be a good girl and take him deeper. Somehow she did and was rewarded by a burst of pleasure when he repeated the words.

Then she felt her mouth fill as Rhys began to cum. That pushed her over the edge, and she heard the other girls scream out as well.

"Still aroused (it never seemed to go away completely), Thea found herself pulled into the shower. Then there were hands lifting onto Rhys' cock, and she was fucked while she held on as best she could. A woman's body pressed up against hers, and Rhys telling her how good her cunt felt around his cock. Thea seemed in a daze as her body just got hotter and hotter. Out of control, she screamed through another orgasm when Rhys came.

Finally, a real breakfast, and she ate like a starved kid. Then to work in the most advanced laboratory she could ever have imagined. The best part (aside from the sex) was her unrestricted access to the base AI. Here she could design, run simulations in seconds that would have taken months on the best computers her company had. This was engineering nerd heaven, and it was almost as good as the sex. Almost.

"She is fitting in well," Kiania told Rhys. "Of course, you are fucking her brains out and making her cum so often I am surprised she has time to think about anything else."

"Just doing my part," Rhys said with a grin.

"You are, at that. But seriously, Thea seems to be adjusting quickly, no real issues."

Having access to the AI keeps her so occupied that she doesn't have time to worry about what has happened, at least not too much. That and you girls are with her always."

"We are; I think it's important," Sandy said. "We seem to get closer that way, and so far, no jealousy. "You were jealous, Kiania," she said, looking at her. "I wonder why we don't see the same reaction from Thea."

Kiania had a thoughtful look on her face. "I don't know," she said, "and yes, I was terribly jealous for the first several days. Sometimes I wanted to kill you and Amancia. Then, I don't know; it seemed to fade, and love replaced it." Kiania leaned into Sandy and kissed her.

Rhys watched them, considering how lucky he was. It was very arousing watching them kiss like that, not just love but a strong passion. He could feel it rising in them as they continued kissing.

Sandy broke the kiss smiling at Kiania. "Now, if only Leslie were so easy. She is very jealous," Sandy said, looking at Rhys. "The last time Leslie saw us together, I thought she was going to explode with it."

"We are going to see her soon, and perhaps you girls can work the same magic with her as you have done with Thea."

"Perhaps," Kiania said, "but maybe it is you, not us."

Thea sat in a chair staring at a hologram showing a 3 D projection in front of her. As she moved her hand through it, the design shifted, adapting to changes she made with just a flicker of her finger and a few words to the AI. This, more than anything, convinced her the story Rhys had told her was real. Even the chair that could adapt to any position she could tell was advanced technology. Her body tingled, thinking about some of the positions and how they had been put to use.

She stood up to walk around the hologram, looking at it from different angles. Amancia had told her that soon she would be able to do it with her mind, but walking helped her think. The sound her heels made echoed slightly in the ample space. Something else that had changed. Gone were the jeans and blouses and practical shoes, replaced by a tight long dress and heels. Underwear optional.

With a wave of her hand, the hologram ballooned to provide detailed information of the part she was focused on. She used both hands, and the detail expanded, showing the molecular circuits, or at least that's what she thought they were. The AI just added the circuits in response to her designs.

Thea could hardly believe how much her life had changed! She was leading an ordinary life one minute, and the next, she was attacked by aliens. She was now working in another alien base. Thea shook her head, thinking about it. And the symbiont thing; well, it was too late now, and she tried to avoid dwelling on it. At least she had been able to contact her mother and let her know she was ok, but she couldn't tell her anything else.

Immersed now in the AI, alien technology, and weapon design, Thea's mind worked so hard it felt like it would bleed. Rhys had told her to focus on improving the existing firearms and armor. It was a task she could do without understanding the science behind the metals and the molecular circuitry.

For instance, she designed an arms computer to target and control projectiles once they left the barrel. The AI took her basic designs, changed them somehow, and then fabricated the weapon. As far as she could tell, the AI spread the arms computer throughout the gun, with no central location. The underlying theory baffled her, but the results were positive. She had already gone through several iterations and testing; something that would have taken months or years before now took days. Rhys was pleased and had told her so. She giggled, thinking about it. They were making love at the time, and Thea couldn't remember his exact words since she was in the middle of an orgasm, but he was definitely happy with her!

Today the fabricators were spitting out new drones. These were about half the size of a dragonfly and looked very similar. The power supply was unbelievable. Thea had no idea how it worked, but the drones were quick like their namesake and deadly. Each one could deliver a lethal dose of poison, a swarm could wreak havoc against a combat team of humans. She had no idea if it would work against the Trangrod, but the rifles she was designing would.

Small drones were just the start; Thea envisioned heavily armed combat drones that would go into battle, providing shock troops and heavy weapon support. She guessed she would run into limits eventually, but none of this seemed to challenge the AI. Too bad it would not just reproduce Drans weapons. But in the meantime, she was living every weapon engineers' dreams.

"How is it going," Rhys asked, breaking her concentration?

Thea jumped with surprise; she was so caught up in her work that she did not notice Rhys coming into the room. "Sorry, you startled me," she said with a big smile as Rhys took her into his arms. Just being held made her feel so good, like everything in the world was ok.

"Show me what you're working on. Is that a new weapon? He asked, eyeing the fearsome-looking thing in the hologram.

"It is, and I think it's going to be a major improvement over what we have. I got the idea from Kiania and her initial drones. The miniaturized power supply works great for them, but it is also possible to use it for a propellant. Look at these," she said, holding out what looked like a standard NATO round. See the fins; they deploy after the bullet leaves the barrel and the power source kicks in. The best part," she said before Rhys could interrupt, "is the velocity and the embedded sensors."

"What embedded sensors," he asked, rolling what looked like a simple bullet without its casing in his hand.

"There are several along the forward part, heat, visual, laser, all embedded, so they are not damaged as the bullet is fired. The other cool part," Thea went on obviously excited, is the velocity. I just need a small charge to get it out of the barrel, but then the Drans power source kicks in and wham, almost instant acceleration to at least 3,000 meters per second."

"That's at least three times the current velocity for almost all weapons."

'I know," Thea said with a big grin, "I don't know how most of this works, but with the AI, I have figured how to make an awesome weapon. These are special bullets; of course, I used smart metal, or the AI did when I showed it what I wanted. They are denser than normal, so they pack a punch. The penetration will be much better; no, it will be so much better you will be able to tear up the Trangrod with this round."

Rhys looked over the weapon that seemed suspended in the hologram. Nice, he thought, smaller, easy to use in tight quarters or conceal.

"There is an Arms computer built into the weapon," Thea added. It will interface directly with Bob, at least the AI says so. You will be able to select a target, fire, and forget about it as the rounds will actively seek out the target. It can also be fired like a standard round, aim and pull the trigger if there isn't time to designate targets."

"What does the case look like," he asked.

"No case, just a propellant charge generated by the firing mechanism to get it out of the barrel. Everything is electronic, no moving parts, no cases to eject, no jamming, she said proudly, looking at Rhys.

He smiled broadly at her. 'I knew you were the right person; I can't wait to get my hands on this and try it out; when will you have a working prototype?"

"I still have a few bugs to work out, but probably tomorrow, I will finish up the design today, and the AI can fabricate them overnight."

"I guess it will have to wait until we come back," Rhys said, wishing he could try one out right now. Remember we are picking up Leslie and heading out to find a site for a base in the outer solar system."

That's right, she said excitedly; I have been thinking about how we could design it. Frowning, she added, I am sorry, but I haven't had time to get very far."

"Honey, You have done a wonderful job in the short time you have been here. I am very pleased with this, and I can't wait to try out the new weapons. And you will have time to think about the base on the trip out. The ship's AI is not as capable, but it should be fine for what you need."

"But tell me how you are feeling about all this, you know we are sorry it was so abrupt, but the Om forced our had."

A thoughtful look came across Thea's beautiful face. "Honestly, sometimes it scares me; I wake up at night and wonder what's going to happen. The Om, well, everything is so crazy, you know, like finding out UFOs are real. But then there is you and Sandy and Kiania and Amancia, and everything is all right. And getting to work with this alien tech," she went on, getting a giant smile on her face. "Something like this is every engineer's dream."

"I can't wait to be able to directly interface with the AI like you and the girls do. Don't you think we should be working on that," she said she said with a smile that was partly shy and the other half wanton.

'I agree Rhys said, pulling her into his arms as his hands ran down her back, cupping her bottom cheeks. He pulled her tightly to him, letting her feel his growing erection."

Thea could feel the now-familiar heat building, and she embraced it, pressing herself even tighter against him. "The chair moves in all kinds of interesting ways," she whispered in his ear.

"The chair it is," he agreed, picking Thea up.

Leslie was officially on vacation as she boarded a flight for Cancun. The first-class seat had been a pleasant surprise, and a few drinks had helped settle the butterflies in her stomach. Rhys had arranged a car from Cancun; she would drive south of the prominent tourist areas to a secluded spot along the beach. She had brought a bathing suit though she didn't expect it to get much use. Rhys was going to meet her there and take her to the alien base, wherever that was. The location of the base was the most important. The government would need that if Leslie decided Rhys could not be trusted.

She bit her lip, worrying it between her teeth as she contemplated betrayal. Actually, more like doing her sworn duty, she was a CIA officer, for Christ's sake, not some high school girl who falls in love with the bad boy. She had been so tempted to set up a sting, to put a team in place and try and seize the space ship Rhys had. Only the thought of the symbiont had stopped her.

God, what a mess. She hated to think about the possibility he was telling the truth. She didn't want it to be true, but she was beginning to see a few changes in herself. Wrinkles smoothing over, hair turning thick and lustrous, beginning to grow. A few women had commented how nice she looked and asked for the name of her hairdresser. There was also a new energy, and she was sleeping less but feeling rested. Exercise was coming easier; the runs were no effort. Finally, there were her lady bits, as she liked to call them. Her breasts were slightly larger and were becoming more sensitive. The same down below; at least the sensitivity and the increased libido. And she did mean increased. Thoughts of Rhys would set her off, and it was hard to keep her hands from reaching for those lady bits.

If she was infected, Leslie would be sidelined into a lab for the duration. It was understandable; she would do the same, had planned to do just that to Rhys and the other women. Now apparently, there was even more if he had recruited and infected another one. Jealously reared its ugly head as she thought of Rhys with another woman. Not a good sign, she thought with a sigh.

Leslie had been torn by emotions she was not prepared for while considering how to seize control. It was the right thing to do; the US must have possession, the technology was too fantastic, the threat to the whole human race too great to leave control in Rhys' hands. But the thought of the betrayal; of Rhys, Sandy, Kiania, and Amancia locked away in a black facility somewhere tore at her heart. They would hate her, and she would lose more than she wanted to admit. She hated these feelings. Forcing them ruthlessly aside. She hadn't made a choice yet, but this trip would decide. What happened now was up to Rhys. He had to convince her that this was the best course of action, that she could trust him. Otherwise, she was determined to go to her boss.

This was too important. Alien technology would change everything from the simple things in everyday life to the more vexing problem it would pose to the world's religions. Evidence of ET's would cause disruptions throughout society, and she could just imagine how the world would react to know that some of them were a threat. She smiled, anticipating the protests against 'alien discrimination' and peace in space marches.

She still struggled with the concept of hostile aliens on Earth. The creatures that attacked the team in Iraq challenged Leslie's worldview. Seeing how the symbiont had changed Rhys and his women further made her question her own reality. Additionally, the idea that there were "friendly" aliens was also cause for concern. Were they really friendly, or were they just using humanity for some reason of their own? Sleep had been hard to come by lately as these questions kept her up at night. That was why she was determined to get answers from Rhys no matter what the consequences. She had almost decided to come clean and confess everything she knew last week. She might have if Rhys had not shown up unexpectedly, bringing her Nazir, his computer, and cell phone along with the passwords.

That had helped calm her anger issues a little. But no woman wants to be kidnapped from her room, taken to what was supposedly an alien spaceship, thoroughly seduced, and sent back to work. Then she was forcibly moved from her home into some Russian mobsters' idea of a penthouse that was more like a bordello. Leslie had felt used, betrayed in some sense, and angry because she wanted to see Rhys again. Desperately she had to admit.

The raid on Nazir had not gone as planned, to say the least. The typical finger-pointing was going on, and her role was being questioned, especially with the shadowy Miranda Group involvement. There were too many unexplained problems. How did the terrorists know they were coming, and where did they get the weapons to take out the air cover? Who was the woman who reported the destruction of the C130, where had the attack come from, and how was it defeated?
