They were deadly if needed, but she didn't intend to use them unless things went awry. Sandy had learned enough from experimenting on Roy and would be extra careful with Anita, just modest adjustments to get her back on track. However, something seethed in Sandy as she replayed the images of Anita defiantly ripping off the clothes Sandy had bought her. Anita needed to learn her place, Sandy thought with unexpected anger, but she would have to be careful; Rhys would definitely not approve.

Prezident Rossiyskoy Federatsii listened as the intelligence briefing ran down. He frowned as discussion erupted around the table, everyone talking. Idiots, he thought while watching, then glancing at Pavel and ignoring the endless chatter and speculation. Pavel looked at his phone, then slowly stood and walked the length of the table. He bent down and whispered in the President's ear, then abruptly left the room.
"Rhys was right," Yaneta said, observing the meeting through one of the many small drones placed throughout the Kremlin, "he is already trying to make contact with the Om."
"Yes, he already had people trying to make contact with the Israelis; he seems to think they are the ones who were behind the destruction of the drug facilities and were fighting the aliens in Moscow," Nelya replied. Neither woman was comfortable in the presence of the other, yet they had to work together. Nelya knew Rhys had ordered Yaneta to protect her, to die if necessary, but it did not take away the anger she still felt.
"I fear he has succeeded this time, the man Pavel; if anyone can find a way to make contact, it is him."
"Talk to the Binary," Nelya ordered brusquely; "someone needs to follow Pavel; it should be you," Nelya said sharply, hoping to get Yaneta out of her presence.
"Yes, Maam," Yaneta replied, contacting the Binary for orders. She felt a small glimmer of excitement. Pavel had treated her with disdain, like a whore, and killing him would bring her pleasure. Any Om would just be added enjoyment.

Anonymousover 1 year agoIt was great seeing this latest chapter drop. It took me a few days to find time to read it as I wanted to read it all in one session and that was the right choice for me.

TheSecretBunnyover 1 year agoI was thinking that one strike could be done with letting a projectile fall from orbit, it will hit like a nuclear strike. But with out the radiation, the cover would be a meteor strike. But sadly that can probably only be used once, anyway that was my thoughts on striking an om nest.
It will be interesting to see what your idea is, so far no chapter has been disappointing.
