It's so rare that one comes away from one of these stories feeling just plain good about it. This is one of those times. In only a couple of pages you get to know the two characters and empathize with their situations. They're not outrageous super heroes and you don't know if they're going to make it together, but knowing that people can care about each other in less than perfect conditions is good enough.
