I knew a couple sort of like this

Called each other either pet names or "my ex". Still lived in the same house together. I didn't ask and they didn't tell whether they shared a bed, but if it weren't for the "my ex" bit you'd never know they weren't a "legal" couple.

Example # 16,671,484 showing that it takes all kinds...

Great little story

A bit off the beaten path, but a stellar little gem.

Diffrent...

Nice quick story. I was thinking that Gavins work in genetics would play a bigger part?

It was so annoying by the end and I felt sooo sorry for poor Melissa. Having to keep asking "Then what?" Or trying to hurry the story along by guessing what happened next. She probably wanted to get up and leave but her English manners wouldnt let her. 2*. One for effort and one for poor Melissa.

Second time reading this one, I think my glasses may need a clean as there ere a few specks of dust that appear to be making my eyes a little misty as I read this one.

Outstanding work!

Damn it!! You know damned well that LW is a garbage bin for the internet dregs.

How dare you write a decent story and post it here.

I am well and truly offended.

Funny ,sad, and great

Amazing. At times hilarious and depressing. True love in the face of a horrible disease.

"That's because you're stupid sweetheart." Pretty much, but damn if he doesn't love her more than life itself, and ditto for her.

Pretty silly reason for a divorce but it seems completely inconsequential anyway so who cares really?

Great story, Carvohi, thanks for sharing it. I see why you placed it in “loving wives”, but I could also see it fitting in

“romance” as well. So it’s author’s choice, I guess. Regardless, it’s a great story and I’m glad you put it out here for us to enjoy. Thanks again.

At first degrading comment about her spouse, the impression was that she was a self centered rich bitch. The twist was she wanted to give her nerdy ex- husband freedom to pursue a more fulfilling relationship out of Love. (...a many splendid thing?)
