CHAPTER 131.1

What happens next?

Still Here With You

You watch Viv as she sleeps soundly next to you.

She has a faint smile on the corners of her lips, sleeping soundly while resting her head on her pillow. You and her haven't moved an inch since both of you went to sleep earlier this morning. You're still facing each other and hugging one another. Her leg is still wrapped around yours and your hands remain intertwined from last night. You don't dare move at the risk of waking her up prematurely. You want her to rest as much as she can after seeing her look of exhaustion last night.

You're not sure how long you stay with Viv like this, but Viv eventually wakes up to you watching her. Her faint smile grows into a toothy grin, before closing her eyes again. You can't help but smile too, seeing her well rested and happy to wake up next to you.

"Good morning, Edward." Viv greets you.

"You're not getting me with that Ron Swanson trick, Viv. Good morning..." You greet her before giving her a sweet peck on the lips that she eagerly returns. "... Girlfriend. You add after the kiss, getting her eyes to widen and her cheeks flush a little.

"You mean it?" Viv asks you shyly.

"Yeah. Unless you want to wait for Sunday--" You answer her.

"No! No. I was just... that quickly?" Viv asks you.

"The moment you were honest about wanting to date me, I knew this was something I wanted. After last night, after we said what we liked about each other, I felt like it was stupid to not just admit that you and I already have a romantic relationship. That makes us boyfriend and girlfriend, right?" You ask her with a big grin on your face, and Viv has one too. Viv just nods excitedly to answer you before hiding her face on your chest.

"No take backs, alright?" Viv asks you, her breath hitting your chest, and you can't help but find her adorable. Something you haven't really thought about Viv until last night.

"No take backs." You say firmly and decisively to assure her.

"No, 'oh we're just dating' or 'we're exclusive but she's not my girlfriend' or--" Viv started listing off the things that she may have been afraid of you meant when you said she was your girlfriend, but you cut her off with a long deep kiss.

"No caveats. No qualifications. You're my girlfriend." You tell her after the kiss, before giving her another soft peck on the lips. "Okay?" You ask her while staring deep into her eyes. She nods shyly once more before hiding her face on your chest again.

The two of you stay like this for a few more minutes. Hugging each other and feeling each other's warmth. Viv takes a deep breath, as if she was taking in your scent. You take a deep breath too and smell the mixture of orange and eucalyptus in her hair.

"I wasn't doing a Swanson, by the way." Viv suddenly says, breaking the silent peace between the two of you. "I was calling you Edward Cullen for watching me sleep, you creepy hair-smelling pervert." Viv teases you.

"I just took a deep breath!" You defend yourself, laughing as you do so. "Also, you read that book but didn't finish mine?" You ask her with fake offense.

"It's called a hate read. Like hate watching, you know? Like watching trash reality television like the Kardashians or watching teen dramas like Riverdale. It makes me feel superior to the fucking writer who thought their shit was worth publishing or worth airing on television." Viv explains to you, and you're not completely foreign to the concept.

"Oof. So you were apathetic about my books then. You know that's actually worse, right?" You tell her with a chuckle.

"I'm not... apathetic, It's just not my preference." Viv answers you shyly, almost nervous even. "I hope you don't think that's a turn off." Viv adds, and you realize why she was being nervous about it. Although, she did already tell you this in a much more confident way before, so you're not sure why she's nervous about it now.

"Yeah, I remember you told me you didn't like having to get a notepad to understand what the fuck was going on." You remind her, and Viv looks away for the first time since you had this conversation, seemingly embarrassed for what her past self said to you. "Hey~" you say, trying to make her look at you again. "I'm never going to be turned off by just that. Ever. Stella and Cassie think the same thing, and I don't think Tanya has ever read my books; but I still love all of them." You assure her.

"I just want to say that I only said that notepad dig because I was being an asshole. I don't really--" Viv started saying before you stop her with a quick peck on the nose.

"Stop. You don't need to explain it to me. I'm a grown man. I can take valid criticism." You tell her, still smiling. "What I would like to hear is why you seem determined to be an asshole when you're not really, to be flirty when you don't have to be, to--" You started listing off, before Viv completed the thought for you.

"To not be me?" Viv asks.

"I was going to say 'to be different'; but, yeah. Sorta." You confirm that that's where you were going with your train of thought.

"Do we really have to do a deep dive into my psyche so early in the morning?" Viv asks you, making you chuckle.

"No. Of course not. " You assure her. "Although, I don't think it's as early as you think it is." You remind her.

"I measure 'early' by how much time has elapsed since I woke up." Viv jokes.

"Well, if that's the case, then it's time to get up based on my clock." You tease her.

"No~" Viv bemoans. "I don't want us to stop being a big toasty cinnamon bun together. I never want us to leave this bed." Viv tells you in the cutest voice you've ever heard from her.

"Even Homer realized he had to get up." You remind her, understanding the reference.

"Tsk. Fi~ne." Viv says in faux annoyance, but she has a big wide grin when she does, before giving you a quick peck on the lips.

The two of you breakaway from each other, for the first time since you both fell asleep, and Viv immediately feels the difference of not being next to your 'Magic Touch'. "Ugh. I miss being a big toasty cinnamon bun. I hate being a fucking adult sometimes." Viv expresses. You immediately walk towards her to give her a hug from behind and kiss her on her cheek.

"We can still be cinnamon buns while we're up." You tell her sweetly, and you can hear Viv let out a long satisfied moan as you tighten your hug.

"What do you want for breakfast?" Viv asks you.

"Whatever the chef is willing to prepare." You answer her.

"I was thinking between Cinnamon Toast Crunch or Kix." Viv tells you, making you both chuckle.

"I'll take one bowl of Cinnamon Toast Crunch please." You answer her playfully.

"Coming right up." Viv says before dragging you along to leave her bedroom.

"Wait." You tell her. "Can I put my pants on first?" You ask her.

"I wouldn't advise it. You're not going to need it after breakfast." Viv tells you naughtily.

CHAPTER 132.1

What happens next?

Domestic Bliss

"I'll just get my phone then." You tell her before she leaves her bedroom.

You grab your phone from your pants where you placed them to check the time. It's already eleven in the morning, almost lunch time, and you had several messages from your girlfriends. You decide to check them at the dining table so you don't make Viv wait since she already left the room.

You sit down on Viv's dining table, checking your messages. The first one was from Tanya, who was replying from your message last night:

"Heyyy, don't worry about not being able to drive me to work. I saw Viv's messages. I'm glad you were there for her. Don't be afraid to wake me up next time, okay? Viv's my friend too. I'll see you guys tonight at the gym. Tell me all about it. Love you."

After that, you checked Stella's message:

"Hey Dad. Tanya told us all about what happened. We hope Viv's doing okay."

The next one seemed to be from a group chat that the girls created:

Cassie: Hey Jay. Stella and I decided the four of us should have a group chat. Message us when you get this.

Tanya: Thanks for this girls! We should have done this sooner.

Tanya: Also, don't wait up on them to have breakfast. They're probably both still tired from last night.

Stella: I don't buy it. Viv has to be the quietest moaner in the world if we couldn't hear it through the walls.

Tanya: I didn't mean it like that Stella! Hahaha

You can just imagine Cassie nudging Stella in the ribs for making that joke.

Just as you were checking the messages, Cassie sends a new one.

Cassie: Jay's awake!

You're guessing she saw that you had seen the messages in the group chat.

Cassie: Good morning! Maddy just arrived to hang out, and we're just about to order lunch too. Would you and Viv like anything specific?

"Hey, Viv. Would you like anything specific for lunch? The girls are asking since they're about to order soon." You tell Viv.

"Oh. Umm... I can cook you guys something if you want." Viv suggests as she pours some Cinnamon Toast Crunch into a bowl for you.

"Considering you just wanted to have cereal for breakfast, I think it's best we just get some takeout so you can enjoy your day off." You answer her with a smile. Viv smiles right back, not arguing your suggestion, pouring milk into your cereal for you.

"Today you'll be having a bowl of the best cereal milk ever created by man. In front of you is a bowl of toast minis made from wheat and rice that has been heavily powdered with cinnamon and sugar. It's served with some fresh cow's milk. We highly advise that you eat the toast minis immediately before it becomes soggy from the milk, and so that it doesn't make the cereal milk lumpy. Afterwards, you may enjoy your actual meal, by drinking the milk that has been infused by the cinnamon sugary toasty goodness of the cereal. Bon appetit." Viv professionally presents to you your bowl of Cinnamon Toast Crunch as if you were back at her restaurant.

You immediately eat a spoonful and moan in pleasure as if you were eating the best meal you've ever had, playing it up for Viv.

"You make a mean bowl of cereal, I give you that." You tell her playfully.

"Ah~, domestic bliss. How I've yearned for thee." Viv says sarcastically, as she makes a bowl of Kix cereal for herself. "Also, to answer your original question, I know a great Thai place, if you guys want to try that." Viv says, and you nod as your response while eating another spoonful of cereal. Viv gives you the name of the Thai place and you message the group chat to inform them of Viv's suggestion.

Jay: Viv's suggesting a Thai place called Kobe Thai for lunch. She recommends the catfish salad and the chicken satays.

Cassie: Okay. Cool. We'll check out the menu.

Cassie: Are you guys going to be longer? We miss you :)

Stella: We couldn't find Kobe Thai on the food delivery app. We tried googling it and the results only lead to a pornstar named Kobe Tai. Are you sure Viv's not messing with you?

You look at Viv who was silently watching you as she was eating her cereal. You raise your eyebrow towards her accusingly, resulting in Viv letting out a stifled laugh.

"Did they find Kobe Thai?" Viv asks you while continuing to stifle her laughter, knowing full well your girlfriends wouldn't find it. You just roll your eyes and Viv couldn't help but laugh even more. "The actual name is Krung Thai. I'm not joking now." Viv tells you before crossing her heart to symbolize her sincerity. You message the girls about Viv's correction on the name of the restaurant and they were able to place your orders.

You check the app once more to see Viv's reaction to your actions last night.

- Nguyen, Vivian - Affection Score: 100 (+1).

Love Score: 61 (+9)

Lust Score:??

+50 Friendship Points. Total: 150 (For reaching the 50+ Lust Score goal with a person)

Available points: 450 (+50) Friendship points / 250 Love points / 200 Lust points

It seems that Viv's naughty tease earlier was less than truthful. Her Lust Score for you hasn't changed, and she's still confused if she wants to do it with you or not. You can only interpret it as her still being hesitant to actually sleep with you. Which begs the question, why is she asking her next question so suggestively?

"Would you like some dessert, Daddy?" Viv asks you, the innuendo laid thick in her delivery. If you're just basing it on her tone, you'd think she was actually willing to do it with you.

Even magic can't figure out the inner machinations of the female brain it seems.

"Viv, I want you to be honest with me again, is that really something you want, right now?" You ask her outright.

"I-- What?" Viv asks in shock. "Way to ruin the mood, Junior!" Viv reacts in frustration, although you're not sure how serious she really is with the sentiment.

"Viv, I told you last night, didn't I? I don't need you to force yourself to want to sleep with me if you're not ready yet." You assure her.

"The nerve to turn the tables on me! It seems like you're the one who doesn't want to have sex with me!" Viv scoffs.

You stand up from your chair and stand next to her as she continues to sit. She turns towards you and looks up at you, her eyes curious with what you'll do next. You bend your knees so you and her can talk at eye level.

"I do. Believe me, I do." You tell her sincerely, looking deep into her eyes. "I don't think any man wouldn't want to, so that's not really saying something." You joke.

"You'd be surprised." Viv replies, half-joking.

"Well whoever they are, they probably read Twilight and watch the Kardashians or Riverdale unironically." you tell her, getting a chuckle out of her, while her eyes begin to look at you just as deeply as you're looking into her. "I want to sleep with you, of course I do..." You reiterate. "... But it doesn't have to be now, unless you honestly want to." You add.

"How do you know, I don't want to do it now?" Viv asks you. "How are you so goddamn sure!?" Viv asks in disbelief at your certainty.

"I'll tell you, but you have to promise to answer my question honestly." You negotiate with her, and she nods in agreement. "Why are you so conflicted about wanting to sleep with me?" You ask her.

"That's assuming I'm confused about wanting to sleep with you, because this conversation is making me pretty sure I don't really want to anymore." Viv jokes.

"Viv." You say sternly, before holding both of her hands with yours. "No more jokes. No more facades. Please." You plead with her. Viv huffs in annoyance. Closing her eyes and taking a deep breath. Trying to take down the wall of flirtiness she uses to hide her insecurities.

"I'm afraid I'm not going to enjoy it... and I'll be shallow... and even though I lo-uhhh-ike you, I'm not sure how long it will last before I look for my fix again." Viv admits.

"What's your fix?" You ask her.

"You know. You've seen a hint of it with Becca back at Dorsia." Viv answers you.

"Lesbian sex?" You ask her jokingly, and she slaps you beside the head as the cost of making that joke.

"No, dingus! Being submissive!" Viv answers, genuinely annoyed. "Follow your own rules! It's tough enough as it is for a serial pretender like me to be honest for five seconds. Don't tempt me." Viv half-jokes, and you immediately apologize. Although you were chuckling during your first attempt so you had to redo it until you've composed yourself.

"Anyway, so being... dominated... is that the right word?" You ask, pausing to wait for Viv to answer, which she nods to in response. "Okay, is being dominated the only way you can get off?" You ask her.

"Honestly, I'm not even sure anymore. I haven't had regular sex in years. Anything sexual I've done in the past--" Viv starts counting in her fingers, "-- six years has been being dominated in some way." Viv shares with you, and you can't help but be surprised at how long it's been for her since she's had vanilla sex.

"A part of why I'm suddenly hesitant now that we're together for real -- because, believe me, imagining being dominated by you was easy -- is because I feel like being dominated isn't just a spice I add to sex anymore. It's probably fucking salt now." Viv adds to her explanation.

"You're afraid you'll find me bland." You say as a statement and not a question, and Viv nods at your understanding of her explanation.

...

"I'm sorry. I know it's shallow but--" Viv starts apologizing, and you grab her hands to stop her from continuing to think negatively about her insecurity. You start rubbing the back of her hands with your thumbs to comfort her.

"Viv... it's not shallow. Lack of compatibility with someone you're dating is a valid fear. You don't have to explain your concern about that." You assure her, and Viv just gives you a shy smile before looking away from you. You continue to rub the back of her hands with your thumbs to continue to comfort her.

"I can learn." You tell her with a determination in your voice. Viv frees one of her hands from your hold, and cups your cheek with it.

"I like that about you, but I don't want to force you to be someone you're not. Same with what you want from me." Viv tells you sweetly.

"I wouldn't know if I can't be that person if I don't try." You tell her.

"The same goes for me, right? I can learn to just enjoy the vanilla side of life and live happily ever after?" Viv argues.

"Hey~, compromises are a part of relationships. If we can't meet each other all the way, maybe we can work on finding something in the middle?" You ask her. "That is, if you want to work on this relationship." You add. Viv rubs her thumb on your cheeks, smiling as you both continue to stare into each other's eyes.

"I do." Viv answers, almost as if you were proposing to her, and she immediately catches herself upon hearing her tone too. "I mean, I want to work on this relationship. Find a compromise. What you said." Viv immediately added, a lot more flustered, and you couldn't help but laugh. She lightly slaps you in the face for it too.

"We were having a moment here!" Viv says in faux annoyance, as her tone was annoyed but the smile on her face hasn't gone away.

"I'm sorry. Couldn't help but find the irony of it funny." You tell her.

"What's ironic about what I said?" Viv asks.

"Nothing." You answer her immediately. "What I found funny was the fact that you found me adorable, when--" "Oh, shut up!" You started saying before Viv cut you off with a kiss on the lips, both her hands holding your cheeks as she does.

As the two of you breakaway from the kiss, the both of you try to recompose yourselves back to the serious demeanors you both had to try and continue the conversation.

"Your turn, Jay." Viv starts saying.

"How were you so sure I was confused about wanting to sleep with you?"

CHAPTER 133.1

What happens next?

Cards on the Table

"Can't you save it for Sunday? So that we can all tell Brooke and Viv at the same time?" Stella suggests.

You asked Viv to go to your apartment before answering her question, as you believed revealing the app to her with the help of your girlfriends would make her believe it much easier. The problem was, you forgot that Maddy was at your apartment. Now, you and Stella are discussing what you can do to get Maddy out of the apartment for a few minutes so the three of you can tell Viv about the app. Cassie's at the dining table with Viv and Maddy, distracting them, while you and Stella are having this conversation in your bedroom, on the pretext that she needs help finding her 'missing' earring.
