The door opened, and a tall, dark-haired man stood before her, cell phone in hand. "So yeah, let's just cancel the plans for Thanksgiving and go with... oh. Holy shit. The fuck? Hey, Alan? I gotta call you back." He stared at her.
Her mouth was suddenly dry as a desert. "Hello, Tim," she managed. "Can I come in?"
