Not to be a nag but there's no way two teenage girls could do that to a muscular athletic guy.... Like you should have had them chloroform him or stick a needle in him to make it seem even plausible for them to take him down.

Has he no family , friends , colleagues who will search for him ?

Police will question friends etc .

When the two weeks are over ? Long jail sentences beckon - unless they murder him ?

I agree with the "not very realistic" comment - two girls planning to wrestle an athletic guy into a canvas bag doesn't seem like an effective strategy to capture him. A better way could be to buy a stun gun over the internet (anyone can buy one). If one girl distracts him, the other could press it into his side. In the time it takes him to recover from being stunned, the girls could get him in the bag.

How are they planning to keep him captive at Rebecca's house? They can't keep him in the bag forever (e.g., surely they won't expect him to use the bathroom inside the bag!). He also can't agree to be Rebecca's girlfriend if all he can do is make muffled sounds through the bag. Unfortunately there was no follow-up for this story, so I suppose we will never know!
