Ib_Saysover 6 years agoIf they actually love eachother why do they not harbor any thought of waiting, and getting married once he's of age? It feels jarring that from one day to another she just leaves when the estranged parents pop up.
Hell she could have decided to stay, she's an adult and a soon to be published author.
That anticlimactic ending puts a lie to many of their interactions, and the romantic progression the author tried to convey.
