I found the dates a little confusing at the beginning. Maybe next time you could put the date in cursive or bold? I know it's a nit-picky thing but it might help dummies like me who just read the date as if it was part of the scene. Other than that it was a sweet strong for the romantics. Well done. (Also I thought I already sent this comment before so if this comes out twice, forgive me.)

I was wary at first when the protagonist stated the need for some backstory, as this can be a rocky way of introducing information that might better flow into the story naturally. But after that -- wow! The temporal back-and-forth, the exquisitely laid out vengeance explained only at the end, and just the right touch of eroticism (the details of which reflect my own preferences) make this a real winner. Congratulations!

It would be an awesome on going series if you shared their journey as a band .
