Our intimate moment was shattered a moment later when a rather loud pounding on the front door interrupted us, followed by the angry sound of Laura's voice. "MOM!... Open the door."
"Uh oh," said Audrey grinning broadly, her eyes comically wide as the pounding continued unabated. "I believe Laura has just discovered her key no longer opens the door."
