All but two were from Kat, she'd called him six times, and sent him a couple messages, asking where he was, when he was coming home, if he wanted to watch a movie later. For a moment he contemplated sending an extremely apologetic message, and promising to watch the movie tomorrow, but then he looked back at the woman lying on the bed, waiting for him to come back to her, the stranger. Instead he messaged his uncle and tossed the phone to ground before re-joining Veronica.
