*I am not affiliated with World Wrestling Entertainment. While real WWE ring names are used in this series, a different name is used for the fed, because a different roster exists in it. I also did not know there was an independent federation called BCW when I began this series, so I am obviously unaffiliated with them as well. This story, and series is fiction. BCW takes place in an alternate universe. It is completely separate from anything that's happened in WWE, and did not actually happen.*

...

"We made it..."

"...We sure did."

Peyton Royce and Billie Kay were thrilled, beyond thrilled to be the next callups to the BCW Women's roster. They drove down from Atlanta to the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida, where they will be surrounded by the BCW Women's roster for the first time, as peers. They each had lumps in their stomachs the closer they got, when the garage door opened, they each thought their hearts would explode out of each of their chests.

They were told to come prepared in case they were booked on the show that night. They parked their rental car and got out with their bags. As they got closer, Peyton walked up next to Billie, looked at her and then looked forward again. Peyton locked her right pinky with Billie's left as they walked, each with a smile on their face.

The Aussie duo were greeted by a few members of production, and had to quickly remember a lot of names of a lot of important people. They were told, that indeed, they would be making their main roster BCW debut tonight, as the writing staff wanted to tell them in person.

Since they were going to be booked, they were told to head into the locker room, and go to the ring, because every callup gets a little unnerved with all the big lights, many extra cameras, and of course, thousands more fans than they were used to. They found their way into the women's locker room, they were the first to arrive, as they were new, so they needed to get their early to be prepared. Both brunette women set their bags down and went to the ring.

Yes, they were as overwhelmed as most callups are when they first walked out onto the stage in front of the ring. No there weren't 18,000 fans yet, but the lights were brighter than they anticipated, the sound system was louder than expected, and each feared that more cameras meant more mistakes would be caught.

Billie and Peyton were seamlessly walked through a dry run of how to come out, what camera to look when, how long their actual entrance should be. They didn't have to worry about the match, as anyone who was main roster ready should be able to have a television quality match. The production staff gave them a few minutes to digest everything, and Billie and Peyton leaned against the barricade when they heard a familiar voice, and accent, behind them.

"Nine thousand, three-hundred and fifty miles." Billie and Peyton turned around to see Emma, now no longer the only Aussie on the Women's roster.

"Emma!!" Peyton and Billie echoed and hugged their countrymate. They went way back, wrestling in Australia's independent wrestling scene.

"Congrats you two! I can't wait to see y'all out there." Emma said.

"Thanks, maybe uh, you'll be in there with one, or both of us soon." Peyton said.

"I'll never have a tag partner I'm as close with as you too are." Emma said, she withheld from adding a wink.

"Or we can, you know, all team up. Form a super-team of Aussies. Do the homeland proud." Billie said.

"Yeah," Peyton added. "We could all be... icons back home twenty years from now." Peyton said with a laugh, as tonight, Peyton Royce and Billie Kay were not going to be Peyton Royce and Billie Kay, they were going to become The IIconic Duo, a name that they came up with, and will wrestle under.

**

And it would be an iconic debut for The IIconic Duo, they came in, wrestled enhancement talent, and won handily. After hitting their tandem finishing move, the Fall From Grace, a variation on the Dudley Boyz' 3-D, on one of their opponents. They attacked her partner after the bell, establishing themselves as heel characters. The refs finally separate them from their downed opponents and cut another promo, about how they're the future.

They end with Billie saying, "They say Orlando is supposed to be the most "magical" place in the country," alluding to nearby DisneyWorld. "But Peyton, I would say this city is both far from being magical, AND far, far away from being..."

"IICONIC!" They both echo and walk to the back.

Billie and Peyton hugged as soon as they got to the back, thrilled from their debut. They shake production staff members hands and continue to the back. After the commercial break, they walk past Emma. On-screen she was written to be put off by their actions post-match, but inside she was so happy for them.

"Billie Kay... Peyton Royce. I wanted to be happier to see you two here, but after what you did out there... After all these years, you girls have changed." Emma said.

"Well, we have changed." Billie said, "Some people..." She looks back at Peyton and nods her head sideways to Emma's direction. "...stay the same. Others... become..."

"IICONIC!" They say in sync, and brush past their countrymate.

After their match, Billie and Peyton sat down with a few other members of the Women's roster in catering.

"You lot looked good out there." Paige said when she sat down. "Pretty confident."

"Thanks." They echo, A.J. Lee, Charlotte Flair, and Kaitlyn sit with the IIconic Duo, introduce themselves, and start to grill them about their lives before wrestling. Pretty basic small talk, nothing beyond that, the four veterans making the rookies feel welcome. In talking about their lives before BCW, Billie and Peyton had a lot of practice in, not allowing people to suspect...

"Good start, ladies!" Emma came behind Billie and Peyton and hugged both of them, she caught Billie by surprise, and Billie jumped a bit, then laughed when she turned around. Now that they were off camera, Emma could congratulate them, and let the two bask in the glow of their debut.

"Yeah, we've come a long way." Billie said as their friend and fellow Aussie sat down.

"A real long way." Peyton said.

"IIconics and I go wayyy back." Emma announced to the rest of them. Billie, Peyton and Emma continued where they left off before the show, sharing stories that all three of them remembered with the other four at the table. They couldn't tell if they were still on a high from winning their first match or if it was natural, but Billie and Peyton both seemed very energetic.

A few minutes later, The IIconic Duo got called to speak to a few more members of production, about their match. They got up, said goodbye to the other five and left.

"They seem like a lot of fun to have around." A.J. said, watching the two rookies walk out.

"Yeah," Emma said, "They've always been a ball of fun..."

"Hey," Paige began and looked at Emma, "Not to make it... y'know, how we usually make it, but am I crazy, or was I picking up a more-than-friends vibe to them?"

Emma had heard a rumor, from a couple other Aussies that they knew, that Billie and Peyton began a legitimate romantic relationship, in their personal lives, not on camera. No one Emma talked to could confirm it, and Emma didn't want to reveal that she had heard that, careful not to out them if they were dating.

"I mean, if you were, I wouldn't be able to tell you, honestly. From how I remember them, I never thought, and now... they've just become even better friends." Emma said, trying to act clueless. In truth, if it was true, Emma would be okay with never knowing the truth, but she feared that this was the kind of thing other members of the roster wouldn't drop.

After all, over the past year, Emma had been a part of, and bared witness, to over 90 percent of the Women's roster having, admittedly hot, sex. Usually dependent on who defeated who in a match, and has grown slightly more complex, with various adaptations. Of course Paige and A.J., the two biggest ringleaders of "The Agreement" would love to add two more out lesbians to the dynamic, but of course, would only do so in a way so they wouldn't be forcing the truth out of them.

On that same note, A.J. started to say they could ask Sonya Deville, what she thought, but then she remembered that only herself and Alexa heard her say she was an actual lesbian, and didn't know who else Sonya might have told.

**

After a few more weeks of beating lesser opponents, The IIconics were finally going to be tested, finally moving up from facing wrestling developmental talent to members of the main roster. Emma was going to pick her tag partner to face The IIconics in a match.

It was a couple hours before the start of the show, Billie and Peyton are seated back at catering, in the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans. This time Emma approached them head on so as to not startle either of them.

"So... it's me and you tonight." Emma said, sitting down.

"Is it?" They both say in sync.

"You're taking on both of us in a Handicap Match?" Billie asked, "I promise we'll take it easy if we are."

"No, no. I can choose a partner, so yeah, but you can take it easy on me anyway." Emma said with a smile.

The three continued to catch up, before being joined by A.J. Lee and Kaitlyn, and Paige again soon after.

"These first few weeks have been good I take it?" A.J., the BCW Women's Champion asked.

"Good." Peyton answered.

"Awesome!" Billie responded. They both nodded. Seeming to fit right in, having Emma around made their conversations with the other BCW veterans a little more seamless, and less awkward. Billie and Peyton continued to poke the other four for whatever advice they can give to two newbies, and of course, they all offered to train them before a show, as they weren't at the Developmental Hub as much.

Near the end of their pre-show meal, Paige looked up and noticed two male developmental wrestlers that she hadn't noticed before. She smiled at both of them, and when the two smiled back, Paige hoped that the other five didn't notice her blush. A silence came over the six wrestlers.

Paige broke the silence herself admitting her eyes wandered, "You know," looking at Billie and Peyton, "Uh, as you can see, there are some very handsome, single guys on the roster that, maybe you'll get to know... If you know what I mean."

Peyton and Billie laughed, and both started to become closer to Paige's face's pale coloring. Honestly, in that split second, Paige truly forgot about what they talked about when the IIconic Duo left that first week. She wasn't so constantly-horny that everything had to be connected back to the agreement, and could just make casual conversation.. But Emma remembered, and she watched keenly as Billie and Peyton looked to their sides, looked in each other's eyes for probably one too many seconds.

'Not now,' Billie thought, trying to get Peyton read her mind. 'Not this soon. Really?!'

Peyton could pick up what Billie was thinking, but she thought differently. Someone was gonna find out eventually, and they could tell everyone at this table would support them, so there was no point in hiding it.

"Actually..." Peyton began, she looked back at Billie, and could see that she changed Billie's mind... Emma's eyes widened as Peyton stuttered, knowing what was coming.

"Uh, yeah... I see that, Paige." Billie stammered, more so than Peyton.

"Neither Billie nor I are single right now." Peyton said.

"Yes." Billie added. "We are.. both uh." Peyton and Billie both paused between every word, it became amusing to them how indecisive they were. Billie changed her mind back- "We're both in happy relationships."

"Yes. Both very much, errr *not* single." Peyton said. The more nervous they became, the more they became like their characters, doing a bit, entertaining the viewers. They had the comedic timing to make anything sound like them practicing doing shtick, after all, this was sports "entertainment." So a mixture of those natural comedic chops, and Billie and Peyton's characters being so close to who they were in real life, they were able to deflect, working in a bizarrely comedic twist to their response to Paige.

"Yes. Funny story. We became.. 'not single' on the same day... What a coinkydink." Billie continued to awkwardly laugh, still with hope this was just enough to steer them away. It wasn't. Not in Peyton's opinion.

...Billie again looked into Peyton's beautiful eyes. Her girlfriend's eyes... Billie lowered her left hand and held onto Peyton's right hand. They had come out to their family and close friends, but they had never gone public with their relationship to any peers... They both felt nervous, but at least they'd never feel the weight from the suppression of the truth.

This was it. At least they waited a little bit, and didn't tell them on the first day, or the eighth. They put each other's hands on the table. They didn't need to say any words...

"Aw, you guys!.." Emma said before trailing off. Even though she suspected, it was quite a moment to hear, and see, them say it. "I... don't even know what else to say, I'm so happy for you."

"Thanks, Are you surprised?" Peyton asked.

Emma nodded, "Somewhat. I mean, back in the day, I knew you two were close but... I'm not in shock."

"The last time we saw you," Billie started thinking, "Peyton and I had definitely uh, something'd or another'd..."

"No one knew, at least at that time." Emma said, still a bit surprised.

"We'd also, appreciate it if you could, not tell anyone else." Peyton said, while she was leaning more towards telling the truth, she added that to try to make Billie feel better. Not that Billie was mad, she was wavering in those few moments to much to be mad.

"Of course. It was hard of you to tell us, but it's fucking badass that you did.. That's, really cute." Paige said, "A tag team that's a real team."

"Yeah, a team that's gonna suffer their first loss tonight." Emma said. She might have been trying to take some of the pressure off by steering the conversation, but the pressure already was off Billie and Peyton, they had told the truth.

"Oh yeah?" Billie said.

"I don't know, Emma." Kaitlyn said. "They say love conquers all. How many years has this..." Kaitlyn waved her index finger at the two of them.

"Hard to put a real marker on it." Peyton said, "Only about two years since we had that official conversation."

"Well, we respect you for you telling us." A.J. said, "And yeah, if you don't even want anyone not at this table, absolutely you can trust us." Billie and Peyton nodded in appreciation.

"I agree," Paige said, "That took guts. Even though Emma's not shocked, I think you two hid it well from the rest of us who met you last week, for the first time.. but y'know, first impressions and what not."

"Thanks." They both echoed. It felt good to finally tell people, now were they worried that the four of them were worried that they'd be checking them out in the locker room, yes, a bit. However, they also had a feeling they could have professional friendships with each of them, though, a scenario like that would never be as awkward as the next few seconds...

"Alright, but let's get into it now that you lot did." Paige said.

"Mm-mm." A.J. just mustered behind closed lips, trying to back Paige off.

There weren't that many other people in catering. A few tables of people pretty far away, but Paige still leaned in and spoke softly as she asked, "Who wears the pants? Because I really can't tell..."

Emma facepalmed and just whispered "for fucks sake." She now felt bad, as here they were spilling their deepest secret, and Paige getting a little too personal. 'Fuck, Paige, you really couldn't wait? She thought.'

"What?" Paige looked at Emma. She admittedly didn't have much of a filter. She looked back at The IIconic Duo. "OK. I'm sorry, girls. That was too far."

"No, no. It's alright." Peyton responded. "You're curious, but uh.." She paused.

"We just don't have that er, dynamic." Billie filled in.

"So... switches? You take turns wearing the strap?" Paige continued to pry, now getting more graphic than just pants.

"Paige!... Jesus!" A.J. shot back. Although, that was sort of a front she was putting on for the rookies. Yes, A.J. too was definitely someone who would, and has, asked a rookie about their sex life within hours of introducing them.

"We don't own one." Peyton replied.

"Oh, come on." A.J. found herself blurting out. She couldn't help it. Yes, she just shot down Paige for how intrusive she was, but upon hearing that, she now felt as curious, and part of it.

"Tell me, you've at least... once... Kaitlyn stammered.

"It's not a mandate for a-" Billie began.

"Unbelievable." Kaitlyn quickly responded.

"I guess..." Peyton began, and looked at A.J. and Paige. "We're okay with answering your, very uh, interesting questions, because, I guess to an outsider, our sex life is pretty boring, I guess." She was trying to say that A.J. and Paige didn't really need to be sorry for getting so in-depth,

"I don't believe it." Paige said. "I do not believe it."

"The very, very rare, uh," Peyton paused, "in-public display of attraction, is the most excited we'd get." Peyton and Billie hoped that they wouldn't ask them what was the craziest place they had sex in public, because then they would have to lie.

Thankfully, Billie put her arm around Peyton, and quickly got the next word in. "...I have never gotten bored with you." Peyton smiled back. There it was.. That was what they've been hiding, any public display of affection for each other. Yes, they really were in love, and could finally show it.

"That's sweet yes, but..." Kaitlyn looked at A.J. "Is it okay if..." and A.J. shook her head, yes, knowing what Kaitlyn was gonna say. "Yeah, A.J. and I, almost became something serious. Something like what you two have. We didn't, but, let me just say that, if neither of you have used a strap-on on each other, it will... I can't find the word... the word 'enhance' doesn't even do it justice. It will change your guys' lives."

"Yeah." A.J. said, in agreement, "We really haven't told that many people that, mainly because it never became anything. Clearly you two have something real and genuine, and I don't mean to equate that, but I mean, Kaitlyn's right. There's nothing like it, whether you're on the giving end or receiving end." Everyone at the table nodded, as, they'd all been on both sides of one.

"We just don't want to inflict pain, or torture, or anything like that. We just like uh, to keep a very, uh exact balance." Billie tried to explain.

"Even-steven." Peyton confirmed.

"Yup. Even-steven." Billie agreed speaking very quickly. They both laughed, again trying to make the situation a bit less awkwardly tense.

"I get it." Paige said, "That's cute and all, and yeah, you're both gorgeous, got bangin' bodies. Of course you two wouldn't get bored with each other, but." Paige didn't mean for the conversation to go in the direction it was about to go in, but since they were on the subject, and A.J. was next to her, she might as well. "...Where are your guys' heads at in terms of... Outside people?"

"Paige, watch yourself." A.J. said sternly.

Billie's eyes widened in surprise, Peyton laughed as she tried to figure out how to answer that, and if Paige was really... Billie folded her hands and rested her chin on them and answered "Are you making a solicitation?"

"Oh! No, at least not yet." Paige said.

"But," Now A.J. helped her out, "In the past year, almost every woman on the active main roster, has gone outside their at-home relationships, *with* other women from the active roster. It stems from actual matches that take place, and they mean nothing, but, it's part of the environment. It started with Becky and me, on the Network, last year, and it's just evolved ever since."
