I have already received some good corrections from other users but it turns out you can't edit a story once it is posted.

I'll make sure the next chapter is checked by a native speaker before posting it online. I want to raise my standards.

This might mean it will take a little longer than expected for me to write and post the second chapter, but we'll get there.
