This is a sad but all too often true situation. I am so glad Thomas is trying to help Riley and he is being receptive. This could turn into a great friendship if nothing else, but I think sparks are going to fly. Love may be in their future. This is a warm and well written chapter and I appreciate the subject matter. It's a story as old as time; Aldonza and Don Quixote. Reilly just thinks himself as a common whore, not worthy of love and romance. Great tale

That HS football jock sure did a terrible number on Riley. He has so little self-confidence and self-respect he chooses to either isolate himself to a lonely existence or settle for being treated like a one-fuck whore. He’s blind to a genuine guy like Thomas who seems to be legitimately attracted to him. I hope they can work this out.
