Loved it . Looks like this assignment has even more possibilities than the last one :)
Definitely interesting. I feel like the depiction of sex therapy here is kind of problematic; even though Becca clearly is not portrayed as behaving professionally, people could still assume that some of her work as a therapist is kind of correct which it is definitely not, so that kind of grates me.
But I'm still interested in seeing which possibilities this new job offers up. Delving into PTSD and sex addiction, a pretend sex therapist who has to come to grips with her own sexuality via a (possibly) rapist vicar can only be interesting.
It also kind of reminds me of the second season of Fleabag, if you're familiar with that show. A self-professed sex addict becoming uncomfortably close with a young, attractive, charming clergy and wanting to seduce him even though she knows it's wrong... Interested to see where this story goes,
I'm reading this author who keeps reinforcing my perceptions with new departures and new directions
one feels safe enough to let go of discernment
wallow in all these new discoveries
discovering that she knows so much about
our world and
carnal joy in excess
and it all makes sense in that special world she conjures
This race is already bumping the limiter on the rev meter!!
I like your detail of the whole scenario of characters, surroundings, building us up for another 11 chapters.
"BOING"!!!!! NOOO!!! Becca feels guilt??? A new side. A side we've all felt similarly.
Carry on Doctor; where do I call for an appointment?
