Amy finished sorting the mail and walked out of the kitchen. When he heard her go upstairs, and when he was sure he was going to be alone, he pulled out the red thong that Sophia left in his office. He wasn't sure if she left it for him on purpose or if she was in such a rush to get dressed that she forgot it. Either way, it was his now, or at least until she asked for it back.
Jared took a big sniff of the thong, remembering how good it was to be with her today, then put it back into his pocket. He knew there was never going to be anything between them, but he was loving the fun they were having together.
