The reason you got such poor response is the start of your story. If you had worked the rules into a conversation, then it would not been so abrupt and off-putting.

I for one enjoyed the story (even tho “kitten and the lioness” has a special place in my heart) and I actually very much appreciate you pointing all that stuff in the very beginning some people need to hear that stuff and it shouldn’t be sugar coated, because as I myself was once molested when I was little and raped as a teen and it’s scary how it isn’t talked about or isn’t taken seriously so thank you I’m glad that you have honor and some kind of sense of decency and it just really means a lot when you bring that stuff into the spot light no matter how ends up reading it, it means something.
