Wonderful story. I read this after reading your recent shower-room story. They were both a great pleasure to read. Exciting, off-the-beaten-path angles, a much broader palette of emotions that we often see on these pages, realistic characters with deep, honest inner lives. Here you give us this almost too perfect interlude on the beach, and hope that things at home may work out after all. We like to think that life is like that, and in your stories it is. Thanks.
