I've enjoyed reading this story quite a lot, but I'm a little wary about where you may be taking it next. I think including the mother is a mistake. You've created quite an intense romance between father and daughter, with hints of a potential incestuous pregnancy. It would be more fun and exciting if you kept it as an affair, rather than a threesome. Fooling around behind someone else's back is more illicit and enjoyable than incorporating the mother into the relationship.

I think it'd be a mistake to "normalize" or "rationalize" it by adding the mother. based on the personality shown of her there's no way she'd be okay with this, she was nearly crying just at the thought of even having a sex talk with her daughter. what would make the MOST sense going forward is a LOT of drama and angst. she should be livid! I can see her kicking the dad and and immediately filing for a divorce and trying to keep the father and daughter apart. I feel like his instincts on her reaction would be correct. he knows her more than her daughter.
