I was of the same mind of many users here that the story was trash until the last chapters were all the story has started to come together. This chapter (10) in particular is short and has little to not sexual content but I have read the whole story and this chapter got my heart pumping. So I'm thinking now that all the chapters have been building up to the conclusion of the story which it seems is getting closer and closer.
