Sweet and hopeful

Go Dorothy - get those elves astirrin’!

A little catsup with them fries? Sweetness to make palatable the not so savory message.

Cute, but poignant. Thanks.

Where Is

Mr. Grinch? Oh yea he rode in after the interview. Right?

Very cute story and poignant as someone else said, I really liked it.

I was just thinking about the names of the characters which I loved.

Refreshing

I was taking a drink of coffee when I got to the part of carpet munchers and damn near choked to death. That was so funny how Willie just came out with it. This story was truly a Wonderful read.

Free speach?

In the land where freedom of speech is a constitutional right.

You have submitted to being told what to say.

Sad.

Once it was just being told by your mother to have manners so to speak.

Great little yarn though.

Absolutely hilarious!! You were right when you stated this story could have gone in any number of categories. Humor would have been a great category for it also. Bravo! Great read!

Wow how did I miss this gem!

Now this is a story. Really shows the author can write. A most enjoyable tale and in some ways a proverb. Treat others with respect because you never know what they know or could tell. All around pushed all the emotions for a story.

Please keep writing and I will keep reading.

Enjoyed the humor.....don’t appreciate the stereotyping you blast the red hats for, but....

....engage in with impunity in this story.

I am non-partisan, so can laugh at both of your (left and right) silliness with both impunity and a clear conscience.

Have fun at the races m&m, just remember it’s a risky gam on the best of days....

T'was a story told. *****

Should have a warning to readers.

'Warning! Chill Pill not included.'

A fun story. Though, reading some of the comments all I can say is, "Some of you be tripping." 5 stars for weaving Willie's mandetory sensitivity training into the story.

A combination of satire, humor, and colorful characters presented without prejudice as another example of the direction a story can take in the Loving Wives Universe.

Thanks for sharing 'moreandmore'!

A charming story

Yes, there's a wholesome message. And yes, it's on Literotica. But honestly, the key to the charm is Willie's straight-spoken dialogue that manages to be both incisive and hilarious at the same time. Who'd've thought it? I can't say it's a very sexy story, but they don't all need to be. It was fun to read, and that's why I give this a resounding five stars.

The only thing I see to improve this would have been to name the grandma Kitty. I belly laughed so hard at Willie that I barely finished.

Very well done.

I absolutely loved it. I have always made it a point to know everyone where I work. And more than once felt embarrassed by the pleased surprise from cantine, cleaning and maintenance staff. A little kindness goes a long way. Good manners even further.

Spot on,what a lovely story.

Outstanding. The mark of an exceptional writer is using seemingly insipid dialect in your dialogue to deliver key character insights. Willy is simply Shakespearian…a King Lear fool

Mindlessly spouting key insights.

Simply brilliant. 5 stars

Another one worth more stars than they allow us to give! Loved the humor in this one so much for however many times I've read it. One of the great one's for sure. 5 BIG AND FAT BRIGHT STARS!

AnonymousAnonymousabout 2 years ago

You are so right! I can see this story in at least two other categories where it might have fit better but I sure glad you chose this one. Many authors spend several paragraphs explaining how the couple met and fell in love. You gave us the start of a true loving wife tale. Other comments show how they wanted to rate this story higher than five stars and I totally agree with them. In a theater the shouts would be; Bravo, bravo---Encore.

Just too good!!!! Your sense of humour is very disarming. Which makes it hard to drink beer and play darts. Seriously truly inspired writing. Cheers

Truly entertaining, incredibly well written ( I never check grammar or punctuation!) a young lady librarian did a lot of my homework for me when I was in school and was, like Willie, very nice to me! I am not a great fan of semantic criticism of writing, so long as I know the words and the context i just enjoy the story, This one was particularly funny, thought provoking and sensitive to some contemporary issues, Well done, Thank You 5***** stuff, I loved it. G.A. take note THIS is a story!

One of the most entertaining stories I’ve read in a long time!

I think the dialog is “precious” and hilariously well done! I sorta miss the BTB & BTB parts except as an aside, but overall loved it.

If you ever repost - or do a sequel- you might get Kandi to interview the first wronged husband :-)

Oh, and I agree about the red hats!

Lovely story, not just from an IR point of view, it's always pissed me off when people look down on those they perceive to be lower caste. A colleague of mine used to belittle me for "talking to the cleaner", cleaner was a great bloke we had great craic, wasn't watching my back chatting with him, like I did my colleague.

This was such a silly, funny story and overloaded with so much innuendo I laughed. The way it was written, I could visualize what was happening. Made my day, thank you for writing this masterpiece in comedy.

Unfortunately it also tells how in the real world people treat other people, which is not funny.

A day without sex is like, um, just kidding. I have no idea. I am judged by what I've done and haunted by what I didn't do. I write stories in an attempt to entertain. If it evokes hate filled or non-constructive comments then I smile while I delete them. I won’t have you...
